At $20/night pp this is the cheapest place to sleep in LA. however you should know that a kind hearted but eccentric man runs this hostel out of his house by stuffing it full of beds. There are not enough bathroom facilities. The place is extremely cluttered, unclean and unsafe. In my view not worth it at any price. You'd be better off sleeping in a car.

I really liked to stay in this hostal. The atmosphere was familiar and it was a nice experience to sleep in the cabañas. Also the breakfast was really good. The familiy was very openminded and helped me with everything. I can recommend this hostal.
