  This was one of the most memorable places I've stayed in Ecuador. Aside from the landscape, Hostería Los Mortiños offers some of the nicest accommodations, best and friendliest service, and wonderful activities around (we did horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, and even a wedding). This is a must for anyone in the area.

  This place is amazing! The owners are the most hospitable people I have ever met. I was made to feel at home and part of their family immediately. The location is in walking distance to Cotopaxi National Park. The property is well maintained and there is plenty space for hiking, though not allowed in the park at this time. (Horses, bikes and cars ONLY are allowed in the Park) The horses were well maintained and the guides were very knowledgeable (speak mostly Spanish). I was traveling alone and Pablo, the owner, was always on the look out for me, if I was hiking alone..in case I would get into to trouble or get caught in a storm. I did get caught in a storm and he went out looking for me. He is a 40 year mountaineer with allot of wisdom and experience. (I felt so safe) The food was great! Staff wonderful! Internet was good in a few places in the haciendasometimes on and off..but mostly on for me. The rooms are amazing with wonderful views of various volcanos, and the refuge extremely clean and comfortable. They do have plenty of hot water, but you must ask for it and it will be available within 5 minutes. I am homesick for this place already and it has only been 2 weeks homeCan't wait to return!!!!!!

  La Hostería Los Mortiños se encuentra ubicada muy cerca del volcán Cotopaxi en un lugar que destaca por el paisaje típico andino y la amabilidad de su propietario.
  
  Una buena comida o un trago cerca de la chimenea mientras se entonan canciones frente a la chimenea son las mejores formas de describir la experiencia de descanso aquí.
  
  También se puede hacer caminata y disfrutar del entorno natural en la cual está enclavada esta hostería
