Excellent place to visit Quilotoa and experience some indigenous culture of Ecuador. The hiking path to Quilotoa literally leaves from the property. Breakfast and dinner are included and were pretty decent. They don't serve the same dinner every day.
Really wonderful lodge to stay at. Owners are very friendly. I was sick while here - the owners were very nice and helpful. The comfiest beds in all of Ecuador!
Lovely place, with very nice equatorial people to welcome you. Diner and breakfast were really good, and the situation is perfect to leave to Quilotoa crater. I would definitely go back there if I had to.
Very nice family hostel. Our room was spacious, quiet and clean. Good breakfirst. A excellent stay.
Great family run hostel m delicious food and fantastic showers after a sunny day of hiking.
Our favorite place. Worth finding because it's a bit off the beaten path
Beautiful property with the most attentive staff. Delicious meals that came with the stay. We visited one of the more popular hostels and were happy we stayed at El Vaquero. It was quieter and seemed much cleaner/nicer despite being the same price. Would recommend this one over the others in the town.
No idea how others can rate it only 4 stars! We slept there as 5 in a 6 dorm and paid 15$ including really good dinner and extremely good breakfast! Very good infrastructure as well and amazing views! The owner was extremely friendly and helpful as well!
The hostel was nice, really clean and with the best views in town. Specially if you are hiking towards the Quilotoa the Next day.
Dinner was ok, breakfast was ok too but really generous, we weren't able to eat half of it, but we packed it for the way. They don't really speak english but they try to explain you how to get there with a simple map they have.
Have a good loop!
Simple, clean and great view. The owner is really nice and helpfull.
