We had a wonderful stay at this charming country inn. The views from the picture windows were superb and it was a delight waking up to such a verdant, peaceful scene in the morning. The rooms were huge but warmed by stoves to make them cosy. The shower was hot and there was plenty of water, much needed after a wet and dusty ride up the mountain with the lovely horses. Everybody was extremely friendly and helpful and meals were taken family style, providing good company to go with the good food. Whether you're a hiker or rider (or neither), this is a relaxing place for a break from city life, or you can explore for miles around on one of their multi-day horse rides from lodge to lodge. Highly recommended.

Very friendly, family style environment. You will eat with owner's family. Excellent local food

Hard to find, no signals to get there. Also, you have to make a reservation even for entering the place. Even though it's called a hotel and they advertise their horseback riding, it's not open. They have to expect you in order to let you in.
