After hearing about Ayahuasca several years ago I began researching retreat centres, and after reading all the good reviews about Gaia Sagrada I decided that it sounded like the right place for me and booked a 12 day retreat in Feb 2018.
The whole retreat was perfect for me, being my first experience with plant medicines both Ayahuasca and San Pedro.
From the moment I arrived I was stunned by the beauty of the Ecuadorian Andes mountains, and knew I was in great hands by the warm welcome from all the lovely staff. The accomodation was super comfortable, with hot showers, clean bathrooms, even hot tubs and a sauna to top it off.
The food was excellent, fresh, and there was plenty of it.
I met loads of interesting people and had a great time getting to know everyone and making new friends for life.
There's plenty of time to chill inbetween ceremonies, and there's also wifi so you're don't lose connection with the world unless you want to!
The medicines are powerful, as are the Shamans delivering them who are amazing, and attentative to everybody.
I dont usually write reviews, but for this place I'm happy to.. I would honestly recommend it to anyone, and have done so already.
If you're thinking about doing it, this is definitely the place.

A beautiful and tranquil shamanic retreat center in the mountains. All of the staff and volunteers have so much love; the healers have a lot of power, but are totally approachable; and the ceremonies are safe and transformative. It is a very supportive, comfortable place to test your edges and boundaries in ceremony, while everything else is taken care of for you.
