I've been using Dr Pacheko service around 2 years for cleaning, crowns and implants. I'm very pleased with the quality of work done and his professionalism. I highly recommend FHIE to anyone looking for a dentist and they do speak English.

I was once timid of going to dentists. Not now! I have yet to have freezing injected into my mouth. I had a tooth removed and didn't even realize it was pulled. It's easy to communicate with them as you can email or call them. The secretary can speak English fluently and the two dentists that I had both spoke pretty good English. The prices that I've had to pay were very reasonable. I sure couldn't get the work done in Canada for the prices I pay here! In my experience, I've never had the quality of work done that was done at Find Health In Ecuador. I recommend FHIE to anyone looking for a dentist.

Do not get a crown in Ecuador! Just had the 3/4 one Dr. Pacheco put on replaced with a full one, another $500. There was decay underneath it and it was too small. It had to be ground off since it was glued on. I am told that the modern technology is not available in Ecuador. Have a full gold one now and it fits perfectly.

After arriving in Cuenca last year, I wanted to replace a cracked tooth. I went to Find Health, and found that an implant would be about 25% of the cost of the same work in the US. But just as important, I found Dr. Pacheco to be very kind and patient in listening to my concerns. His English is good (better than my Spanish), and his assistant Ana Maria is not only efficient and pleasant, but is completely bi-lingual. However, since I take blood thinner medication, I knew that some preparation would need to take place prior to the tooth extraction (due to bleeding). I was very impressed that Dr. Pacheco spoke in person to my cardiologist to arrange the timing of the procedure. Due to an illness, I had to postpone for a few months, but learned that the day of the extraction, the cardiologist had again been consulted to be sure all was on track. The extraction was not bad at all, as those things go. I am now awaiting the final step in a few weeks. In all, a good experience and I am happy to recommend this dental practice.

I grew up in a small town with a terror of a dentist, and all my friends and family can attest to that !. So I was terrified to sit in that chair again until I met the dentist at "Find Health in Ecuador" Dr. Pacheco and he put me totally at ease with the help of Ana Maria , his secretary who speaks English and did a great translation.I was totally impressed with the offices and the up to date equipment. Not once did I feel pain with a deep cleaning, and I will be going back totally at ease with the next appointment :) Highly recommend this clinic !

I have been attending this dental clinic for a few years now and have had a range of work done from simple fillings to more complex ones as well as root canals and crowns. At all times, I have been offered the best advice in regards to my long-term dental health. The clinic offers quality materials, the consulting rooms are state of the art and very clean and are peopled by friendly bilingual dentists and receptionists as well as helpful assistants and student practitioners. I felt there was a calm about my experiences at this clinic and an assurance that the terrible state of my previous piecemeal approach to dental work in Cuenca was now back in my control - I feel I am in excellent and skillful hands. My teeth have never felt better and the prices are very reasonable. An X-Ray facility is also conveniently located in the same building so there is no wasted time chasing around town and having to return to have work completed another day. I highly recommend this clinic and the services of Dr Pacheco. And one last comment, you are reminded by the receptionist the day before your appointment - another great aspect of the level of professional organisation of this business.

I had a barb on my gold crown, Dr. Pacheco was recommended to me while in Cuenca in February. He is a kind, caring, conscientious dentist. Had no pain. Needed a crown replaced with a ceramic one, took a week. Unfortunately it doesn't fit well. On one end it is too open, so at EVERY meal food gets caught in it. On the other side it was so tight I had to saw it with dental floss to get to the gum line. Today a piece of the crown came off, the size of a piece of rice and there is a barb on the new crown when I floss. Both sides have wide gaps now. Color doesn't match, but in back of my mouth. Paid about $500. and need to see my US dentist now.

Find health in Ecuador has excellent dentists. Daniela and Andrés, they both have such gentle hands and work very professionally. I have always been treated with dignity and respect, given ongoing information about procedures and asked about my comfort during a cleaning or while carrying out fillings or whitening. When there has been an option of different procedures, I have been given clear and helpful information to aid my choice. All I can say is that I am very happy with the dentist at Find health in Ecuador and I will strongly recommend them.
