Always love going to El Mercado. The service is good, the view is beautiful, and the food is consistantly wonderful. They also have the best hamburger in Cuenca.

Nice restaurant with a lot kf choices for good food, wines and cocktails. We enjoyed the pulpo, scallops and pea soup. Waiters speak good english and also the view is nice. The price are not low but for western people ok to affort. If you want a nice easy evening; go here.

The restaurant has a great view and ambience but lousy service. We ordered a couple of starter salads and then my wife decided she wanted to order soup. After telling the soup that was available we were told the were too busy to get the order in and suggested we cancel the order. This has to be a first for me. The restaurant was not to full capacity. I give the food overall a b+ and service a c- . I must say the sangria was the best one I have had and I have tried many places including in Spain.
