Here you can find Ecuadorian typical breakfasts from the coast region. It's a bit pricey and they take a while to serve your food. There are several places where you can find the same menu for an affordable price.

Excelent place to have a breakfast. There is no better place in Guayaquil for a "bolón" or a "tigrillo"

A bit of a popular place in Guayaquil. Unfortunately always packed depending on which restaurant you stop at for food. Service is not as fast so be prepared to cue for your order and then wait at least 20 min for your breakfast. Points less as they don't accept cards, just cash.

Excelent quality food, if you go out the airport is a tradition to pass for Cafe de Tere and ask for a bolon, or tigrillo with pork. The place is full, 4 lines for paying. They serve fast. Good dinámic, so go and enjoy

Great to have all the plantain breakfast classics done authentically with a homey feel and taste. That said, they struggle to manage the orders and deliver the whole thing at the same time. Constantly running out of things, or missing thing int he order. Very busy place, avoid weekends or rush hours in the morning. The dish called Boyo is a killer, tigrillo with chicharrón another killer.

Boy is this place packed every morning! This place is so popular in Guayaquil that it's becoming a tradition. The food is great, and plentiful. Very traditional food. I think it needs some improvements when it comes to chairs and parking lot. But overall it is pretty good.
