Villa Flor De Cabrera

  We stayed at Flor de Cabrera with a group of 29 for my wedding the end of April through beginning of May 2018. Every person we were with was amazed, wanted to know how I had found the villa, and agreed it was the vacation of a lifetime. Not only is the property stunning, the staff are probably the best hospitality staff I've ever experienced (they knew everyone's names on the 2nd day, and started keeping track of what drinks/food people liked and didn't like, plus they were so sweet and a ton of fun!), and there were so many perks regarding wedding planning that it was an easy decision to book FDC after looking at other villas in the area and throughout the Caribbean.
  
  Wedding planning perks (some of which were pleasant surprises):
  - Wedding planning services included with villa rental (Wilvia and Lissa do an amazing job making sure everything looks gorgeous for the big day)
  - Master bedroom that is separate from the main house and overlooking the beach (perfect for a "honeymoon suite")
  -Rose petals in the shape of a heart on our bed on the wedding night, with matching his and hers toiletry bags with our initials (my NEW initials)
  - Multiple options for wedding location - on the beach and up by the pool
  - The dance floor is the patio next to the pool, which means inevitably the reception turns into a pool party late at night - it was AWESOME
  - The lighting package they have is truly outstanding - you just can't beat the giant light-up LOVE letters next to the pool!
  - The food, wedding cake/dessert, and drinks were absolutely on point. They were clearly only made with the freshest ingredients.
  - The rehearsal dinner on the beach was the most amazing Dominican food AND they cut down coconuts from the palm trees on the beach, opened them up, and made coconut water and rum drinks that were delicious, alcoholic, and hydrating all at once! The beach bonfire was truly amazing, and we paired it with a meringue band, which was a ton of fun.
  - They had beautiful watermelon sculptures at the rehearsal dinner and the brunch after the wedding, and personalized them to out new married last name (Fox)!
  - Laundry services for my dress and his outfit, included!
  
  More on the food - you will NOT go hungry here - SO. MUCH. DELICIOUS. FOOD! And, they always have fresh fruit juices on hand - fresh-squeezed pineapple and orange juice, watermelon juice, mango juice, etc. If you love tropical fruits, you will certainly be in heaven. All of the alcoholic drinks were made fresh and not with mixers - the bartenders were amazing! We had one guest who was allergic to a few tropical fruits and the staff was incredibly attentive to making sure she had her own plate of fruit if one of her allergies was included in a dish or buffet.
  
  There are lots of excursion options if you want to leave the villa - our group opted to go to Dudu Lagoon and Playa Diamonte. It was a great time! There are also a group of massage therapists that will come to the house and give massages (I believe it was something like $25 for 30 minutes and $35 for and hour - half the rate in the US). Massages by the beach are something everyone should try - these women were amazing and able to arrive on time even if you scheduled an hour or two before.
  
  I could go on and on - the rooms were all spectacular, and the cleaning services were so stealthy, we barely ever saw them coming in to tidy up the room. Laundry services were included free of charge if you put clothes in the hamper - they even laundered my wedding dress for free!!!
  
  The only inconvenience is how far FDC is from the nearby airports, BUT transportation is included WITH BEER & SNACKS from the airport (value of somewhere around $2600 for a 45-person bus), so really it's not even that inconvenient. By the time you arrive at the villa (and literally greeted with a Rum Punch as soon as you step off the bus), everyone is already having a good time :)
  
  I can't say enough good things - book Flor de Cabrera for your group vacation and you won't regret it. We're planning to come back every 5 years for an anniversary trip :)

  Came here for a wedding in May and had a absolute blast. From the time we arrived to the time we left the service was absolutely amazing. I hated to leave. The rooms are really nice and spacious. The view is absolutely stunning. The pool is great. Every meal, snack, and drink I had was delicious. The massages were fantastic I got 3! In fact, I really can't say enough good things. If you are thinking of going here for anythingI HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

  Stayed here for six days while at a wedding. Absolutely amazing service. No complaints on any of the staff. They all have gonna above and beyond. Within an hour they new us all by name. So many amazing staff making this an unforgettable destination. Would recommend to anyone looking for a 6 star exsperience.

  Just absolutely beautiful!! I was mesmarized with everything I saw and experienced. Best part of it all was the view of the beach looking from your room balcony. The service was exceptional aswell. I'll definitely recommend to anyone and will definitely come back too. Thanks again Flor de Cabrera for all your hospitality especially to my main man Atoru and Ms Vilda👌👍👏

  Just had the most wonderful week here for my son's wedding. The villa and accommodations were amazing. The staff was first class all the way. The food was great. We had the most magnificent time with our family and many new friends. My only complaint.we didn't stay long enough! I highly recommend a stay here.

  I was simply astounded by the raw beauty of the villas and the cliff side Beach views they command. A must stay if you want impeccable service by the staff. A fantastic place for weddings, corporate get aways, or a down time that is relaxing. Great golf nearby, horseback riding, and Dorado (mahi-mahi) fishing. I highly recommend!

  One of the most amazing places that you will ever see, both in beauty and comfort. The staff is unbelievable only topped by the pure paradise you wake up to every day. The town is extremely safe, and the residents of Cabrera are as kind hearted as you'd find anywhere in the world. If you're on the fence about staying here, go for it, you will not regret one second.
