  Truly astounding vacation! This place is amazing and I'm only annoyed I wasn't here sooner. Our large family group came across this place online, reached out to the owners directly and rented it. First, the rental process is very easy and straightforward. Second, excellent communications throughout, including with the very helpful villa concierge. The staff are out of this world good at what they do and the food -- oh, the food -- is amazing! Lots of things to do and even massages on the beach! Love this place!

  Fantastic Vacation!
  
  My husband and I, along with 10 of our closest friends, recently spent a lovely 7 nights at Villa Castellamonte enjoying everything from 'game night' to midnight swims. Every year we travel together and have been doing this for over 15 years. This time we picked Villa Castellamonte and were amazed at how spectacular the villa is, the location, and the staff are all truly fabulous. We all like to trek out so we took a load of excursions with the helpful villa concierge organizing everything for us. Honestly, we didn't have to do a thing but truly relax. Highly recommend this place to any other group and, guess what, we'll be coming back!

  Avoid this place at all costs. Air conditioners in multiple rooms were not working, mind you the temperature is hitting 90+ degrees everyday. There would be no running water or electricity for hours or days at a time. We spoke with the owners and concierge multiple times and received no apology or help. In addition, multiple guests had items and money stolen from their rooms. I am disappointed and embarrassed to have spent time here and invited guests to spend time here.
  
  Three members of my party got very sick upon returning back to the US. Two of which wound up in the hospital with bacterial infection & dysentery. I would caution anyway who vacations here to be vigilant and ask questions.

  Nice property, if you don't inspect too much.

  Old generators
  
  Tacky decor
  
  Not a 5 star chef like the owners claimed
  
  Menus had to be agreed upon beforehand, there is no deviation from menu at all.
  
  Menus are very heavy (pasta & soup based), with no creativity or originality.
  
  Beverages we asked for weren't available.
  
  A/C units were old, one broke down while we were there and it took hours for the maintenance crew to fix it.
  
  Cleaning crew does not replace towels, linens, or toilet paper.
  
  Someone on the staff stole items and money from my guests.
  
  The driver you can hire, took a detour to his home, while he was driving us back to the villa.
  
  Some rooms either didn't have a safe or they did not work properly.
  
  The owners & concierge do not communicate properly with the staff. Many of the things we asked for had to be reiterated several times to the concierge and the staff.
  
  The owners & concierge mislead us about many things and once they received their money they were hard to reach (took a long time to reply to emails or would not reply at all) or gave a rude response when asked a simple question.
  
  For the final 15+ hours of our vacation, all the generators went out, which meant no running water, no refrigeration, no electricity, no air conditioning. This issue was never properly addressed and we all left begging to go home.

  There is no place in this world like Castellamonte Villa in Cabrera. Services, staff, location, acommondations, it is the best places for a wedding, family event, gateaway retreat.
