Nice living slightly out of the stress of central Samana. Some problems with the water pressure but it is outweighed by the niceness of the staff which are very service minded!

Great apartment rental at good price. Located 150 meters from a 1/2 kilometer long beach. They have a generator that gives 24 HOURS a day electricity, since that region of the peninsula have regular power cuts. Met the friendly owner Gonzalo that lives in NY, USA and comes travel regularly to his native region of Samana. TRADE WINDS is located about 4 kilometers ( 2.5 miles ) from the town of Samana, where you will find all the restaurants, bars, tour agencies and shopping. The best is to have a rental car so that you can go easily out at night in town, since the local small buses ( Called GUAGUAS ) do not operated at nighttime.
