Never go to this airport or country. The staff is horrible. They don't know one word of english. They hold me up for no reason. Im under 18. They pulled me in a white room and started checking me. They found nothing. They check me again and again. They still found nothing. They check my suitcase. Nothing. In the first place you aren't allowed to do that to a 14 year old . I went through the security. Nothing beep. They still check me and put me in a room. This airport is crap.

Very slow check in, even for business class passengers. Staff doesn't seem experienced. An e-cigarette (!) was confiscated from my luggage.

My first time flying out of Samaná was last year and I have to say that it's a really nice, clean airport. Small in size, but is good enough for the amount of passengers flying out on a specific day. Too bad there's only one restaurant, not enough options to eat. Other than that, love it! Can't wait to go back.

It's small airport, it's clean and they work fast (Of couse, they have to)
The downside is that to get to the plane you have to walk to the runway, not a big problem when it's sunny, terrible when it rains. And forget about getting something decent to eat while you wait. Other than that, I liked it.response / report this review -

Nice new airport. Great departing but arrival was a pain because of the queue to pay arrival tax. They take us dollars euros or pesos. Changing £ to $ was worst exchange rate ever
