Mall has seen better days, a lot of empty shops. Shops that are open sell tourists trinkets at tourist prices. Has a few bars and a disco.

Large selection of items for tourists with "tourist prices". The location has numerous stores offering a wide selection of souvenirs, beach attire, cigars, locally produced rum. There is a restaurant as well as a bar which serves alcoholic drinks. A large parking lot for autos and mopeds is located directly in front with 24/7 security.

Good tourist shopping mall! Everything is expensive yet cheaper than in your resort! Worth leaving your comfy beach chair if you want to bring a little something back home!

Great place. The stuff is much much much cheaper than at the resort and it's only a short walk. I think like only 1 shop doesn't take credit cards. But you can get a ton of stuff there for far far cheaper than on the resort.

The plaza has been reopening more new shops and has improved with the hotels in he area being more prosperous. The prices are high, but the location convenient and you'll find a few more Dominican made things here.

A tourist shopping center that has: banks, restaurants, bars, drug stores, movie theaters, jewelry, art and tourist souvenir stores with beach necessaties such as sun screen, hats etc. It also has real estate and travel booking places. It is a 2 floor open air center with public restrooms. There is a medical clinic on site too. Security guards were present on our evening visit.

Don't buy any souvenirs in the city! You do have to watch the prices at some of the stores in this shopping center (especially on the first floor), but there is one store called "The Taipei" on the second floor which had amazing prices!!! The store is run buy a Taiwanese couple who weren't pushy like the other merchants and they offered even better deals when you bought more than one item. Happy shopping!

Nice shopping experience but you have to pay attention to prices because there are very different from store to store. In addition, be careful to exchange rate because if you pay with US dollars they try to lower the exchange rate. The best way is to exchange the US dollar to Dominican pesos to a exchange office and after to pay the goods ( example : the rate at the exchange office was 45 pesos for 1 US dollar and in the store 43 pesos for 1 US dollar). Avoid the firs store on the right corner after the entrance (there is a bar in front of it). IT'S A RIP OFF. I paid double price for the items. Advice : first go check the prices in all the stores and after buy. Unfortunately they try to take advantage if they see that you are a tourist.

I would recommend buying all your souvenirs here rather than at the beach. Prices are good !

Not a ton of shops, but some interesting things for sure! If only we weren't constantly hounded by sales people there! That's my only real complaint - buy it's serious enough to keep me from enjoying the mall too much.

There's a Rock Bar, complete with purple caddy above the bar, that isn't to be missed. Great drinks and service, and they seem to cater to hockey-loving Canadians! Great for watching the game away.

Most of the shops are ok and staff doesn't harass you with special offers. Nice things mostly and fair prices. Avoid the Pharmacy. They have got everything but triple the prices of any supermarket in town. Anonymous is a nice place to have a beer. Not cheap but good. The german corner is best to get excursions. About a third of what cruise lines ask for.

The shops here sell stuff that are way expensive even than Canada . Complete rip off. Stay away from here. Guys here try to sell you drugs and lots of other stuffs , don't fall into the trap. You never know what comes next.

Much cheaper than resort shops for souvenirs. But recommend buying alcohol at the airport at duty free.

It's a nice mall and there are several very useful stores such as convience stores, liquor store and a pharmacy. However a lot of the rest of the place is made up of harassing type business such as excursions, and vacation clubs. The vacation club guy is nice, and I understand persistence in sales, but he's just too much.

It's a cute mall that has pretty much a lot of stuff you may need. You can convert your money and get beach or souvenir items here but be prepared to pay 3 times it's worth. If you go to the city it's much cheaper. But this mall is within the safety of the overall resort compound and walking here is quick and easy. The night club that is open till 6 am tends to be dramatically empty. Beware of the prostitutes that may try and solicit business - may not be a friendly lady looking to dance.

There are 3 ATM machines at this mall. We went there to get dominican pesos out of our bank account. We had to try the different machines as some only did cash advance from credit cards. The first time we had no problems. We went back another day and all machines were not working. We were offered credit card advances from many small business people in the mall which we didn't feel comfortable doing. It seemed suspicious!! We returned in the evening and all machines were up and running again. When we arrived home we were notified by our bank that our bank card had been skimmed!! Please use with caution.
