A good place to watch a movie when on vacation, the cinema needs a hand, it's almost empty every time I visited, they may invest in marketing and advertising the whole Mall to attract more locals and tourists. The price is perfect.

The popcorn is disgusting. If you get cold easily, bring a sweater. Sometimes the air conditioning is turned up so high you could hang meat in the theater

The only theater in Puerto Plata. Search POP Cinemas on internet for facebook page, the listings are almost always accurate. Does not carry all the new release movies, but always the big ones. Movies are almost always once a night in English with Spanish subtitles, 90 percent are in Spanish only so look at the listings first before you go. Great prices, and they also have some movies in 3D.

This is the only cinema in Puerto Plata. It is located in a very well place and easy to access. Parking normally it is easy too, except when has a big movie showing, in those days it is hard to find a parking place. The rooms are smalls. The line to go in is confused. They need more sense of organization. In my last time at this place, the security do not ask to see if I have bought the ticket to see that movie. Price is cheaper than America. The air conditioning is not one of the best. With an exception of great and big movies, normally this place do not show movies that is worth to go to watch. They need a lot of improvement, but because it is the only theater in Puerto Plata I guess they are not worry about this, no competition.

En términos generales esta bien. Es un cine pequeño y con pocas salas de proyección (que no tiene por que ser un punto negativo).El estado de las instalaciones están bien. Los precios son asequibles tanto en boletería como en la cafetería. La calidad de la proyecciones es decente y de vez en cuando pasan películas 3D.

Besides the dominican people don't know how to behave there is not control and the service was indescribable there was people chatting and on the phone the whole time and security didn't say anything blah blah blah that's all you hear also if you are a visitor make sure you have the correct change you can be a easy target is like everyone is looking for a chance to take your money ,also don't do the lines ether way the people over there don't have the respect and courtesy to do the lines and will go over you

Movies in Spanish and in English English with Spanish subtitles but no subtitles for the Spanish movies. Very cheap you could take 30 people to the movies for what it would cost in the United States. Very fun place to hang out with the family
