This hotel is totally fabulous. Everything from the food to customer service is 5 stars. Plus the lobby connects to a mall that has stores like Chanel, Bvlgari, Zara etc

The staff is amazing and always eager to help. The amenities, rooms, hallways, everything is superb. You can feel the attention to detail in every inch of the place. One of the top chef in the country is at your service, you can try all the courses in the main dining room, or even ask him to make you something special. The views are excellent, specially if you have South or West views.

Awesome hotel ! Hands down one of the best marriotttt in the world and as a platinum member I have stayed in a lot of them. OUTSTANDING ! Staff. My wife and I spent our honeymoon there and had a blast ! We will revisit soon. Franklin and Esmeralda are some of the best folks we've ever met !

Absolutely immaculate! Rooms are gorgeous, hotel amenities are top of the line but best part is the staff! I travel more than I'm home and I've never experienced such attentive, pleasant staff service! Worth every penny, you will not be disappointed!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Truly accommodating. Facility is well kept and organized. Gorgeous modern furniture in the rooms. House keeping is thorough and room service is prompt. Food was very good though close in price to what you'd pay in the US. If you go outside locally, the cost is less depending upon where you eat and whether it's upscale or not. Several newer high end restaurants nearby that are excellent choices to eat at. My only criticism of the hotel is that as nice as it was and for the money, the closer door and bathroom door handles were bent and help coming unhinged. Otherwise and overall excellent experience.

Despite not being registered at the hotel, I was treated as the most important guest.
Back from Venezuela where I stayed at their facilities in Playa Grande and El Rosal, I had a very long flight connection, so I decided to go to their facilities in Santo Domingo and work in the Lobby using the wifi. I was met by Marlenis Lora, who kindly welcomed me and I keep my luggage. On the way back from lunch I had a small mishap that required a change of clothes, Marlenis not only cared about how I was, but also gave me the shower room.
Companies can have the best facilities, technologies, locations but their employees are the only ones that highlight these competitive advantages, thanks Marlenis !! , Extended to the lady (Gladys ??) who was in charge of the coffee bar outside the breakfast room, as well as Marlyn Lachapelle in the front desk on April 25 at JWMarriot Santo Domingo,
For sure on my next trip I will consider Marriot better to the hotel chains where I usually stay

A very good business hotel. Excellent service from all staff. The club room is wonderful, great nibbles, with happy hour in evening, newspapers. and a wonderful area to work. Only downside is the only Restaurant is not good! Club Room far better, tasty and healthy. Bedrooms very comfortable without stark corporate feel. Pretty good.

The service at the hotel was excellent. The entire staff from check-in, the executive lounge, the bar and restaurant were all focused on providing a high quality experience. I recommend the Mojitos and the lemonade for a non alcoholic delight, both made fresh at the Vertygo bar. If you need a ride around the island, the hotels premium car service by Furcal is the way to go. Nice clean vehicles with Wi-Fi included.

The JW Marriott Santo Domingo is by far one of the best JW I've stayed in the world. Very classy chic, and the environment is very quiet and calm great to relax and talk. I love their pool and privacy.

I would love to see a change in their menu at the restaurant. More options at a reasonable price. I love their food and their restaurant ia a great location and it could turn I to a popular spot with the great ambiance but the price are not justified with the lack of popularity and options

Usually we stay in courtyards or similar Marriotts when traveling. This time around we went with the JW brand. This place was simply amazing. The rooms were extremely comfortable and all of my online request were taken care of. As always, service here stood out beyond compare. We had access to the executive lounge and experienced why JW is the nicest hotel in DR. We had the privilege of meeting Esmeralda the concierge. This young lady stood out like no other and represented Marriott in a flawless manner. Going the extra mile with her was only the beginning. From car reservations to ensuring our room was cared for by house cleaning when we forgot to take down our privacy sign, she attended to our needs without hesitation. Marriott is known for their service and this establishment was on par as to what to expect. Thank you for making our trip memorable.
