no hot water in the shower, toilet would not flush, poor room service, sauna/spa: no water, hair conditioner, creams, or towels in the spa. No water to drink. Should not be called sauna. Staff is NOT friendly, rude. Food is good, but same every day with very little variety. Overpriced. Not kids friendly, lots of people smoking everywhere. Would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, overpriced and overrated. Do not know why they are sold out. NOT COming back here, not even if the reduce the prices. BEWARE!

Nice place to stay. Very nice stuff. Food is good though I would say the meat is great otherwise is very medium. Nice and clean beach. Activities are not very good. Except for the shooting rifle and archery.

Beautiful grounds with friendly staff. The resort property is large, with the rooms divided over 7 individual buildings, joined by a walking path. Rooms are spacious, and surprisingly quiet.
We had requested a room with two doubles and a crib for a toddler, and our room was not only as requested, but they added a third single bed for our daughter. A very pleasant surprise.
Pool is large and warm. Huge compliment for the area surrounding the pool is there is plenty of shade and umbrellas without feeling crowded. Some other Caribbean resorts feel cramped and guests jostle for tables and space each morning. Hacienda Dominicus is large and relaxed, with room for everyone.
Food is very good, although staple items seem to appear frequently so you may tire from identical meals. More theme nights would be a welcome addition. Food and snacks available through most of the day, with a gap in availability from about 6-7pm as they change over for dinner.
Beach is clean. All grounds are very well kept. Plenty of beautiful birds and wildlife to admire while walking the property.
Highly recommended for families. Not a boisterous party resort, but still manages to be fun and relaxing.response / report this review -

Nice experience. Good customer service and nice beach. Good to enjoy with family, friends or with your partner. Iberostar is prettier in person. Nice shows at the theatre.

Really nice place to stay. Wonderful vacations. Beautiful gardens, the food is amazing specially at the gourmet restaurant. Prepare your googles to see the reefs in front of the lighthouse.

This resort is the best out of all Iberostar resorts. Stayed 3 times 9 nights each time.
All other resorts have cast system of different color bracelets limiting whether you can or can't use some facilities. Where you may be asked to leave and go to your cast or pay for "upgrade"
This one is Top Level Food and facilities no need for upgrading anything.
STAY AWAY FROM "THE CLUB SCAM". IT IS TIMESHARE!!! DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY!!! READ CONTRACT !!! DO NOT SIGN ANY PAPERS!!!
TIME SHARE CROOKS WILL RUIN YOU DAY TRYING TO TRICK YOU IN TO RALLY BAD DEAL!!!
