Loved are time here. Loved that you can go to ala cart each day. Not enough chairs at the main pool. They segregate pools with different coloured arm bands. I understand but did not like that. If they are going to continue this then they need more pools by the ocean.

Best hotel in the Juan Dolio area. With that been said let me tell you what I liked the most.
First of all the service: the way that the hotel crew treats you is just awesome, the way that everybody tries to be helpful (without being intrusive) is excellent; most of them answer you "Con gusto" which means "with pleasure" this puts the cherry on the top after attending you.
The food quality and variety are good. Even though it has 2 buffet restaurants and as I said before they are very good, like any other resort has dinner restaurants (Dominican, Mexican, Italian and a grill one if I recall correctly). I tried all of them and the best one for me was the Dominican.
The spaces are very neat and clean. Big pools and has a special area just for adults sufficiently away of the common pool and common areas.

Always enjoy the stay. Checkout is always a mess. They don’t know how to close your account. Their systems are very out dated. With nobody in line it’s always a 30 minute process to leave.

Is there free bottle water in the rooms? Is there a mini fridge stocked?
How far is the furthest building from the beach?
    Hos is the water?
Is there any local shops on the street you have to cross?
Are their coffee shops, ice cream shops, or any other food stands you can visit during the day?

Pushed time shares hard. Felt uncomfortable. Weird layout, split by street. Nice beach. Good food. Swim out pool was cold (didn't get much sun). Staff friendly.

Sergio and the management team at the Ocean Diving facility provided a kayak that sank immediately and then charged for the cost of the paddle that was lost on the trip after I dragged the kayak over a lot of coral in an effort to salvage it while sustaining cuts and burns to my legs. I was coerced into paying a man on the beach to “help” bring the kayak, which was a few yards off-shore at this point. Sergio handled the whole process with a lack of fairness or professionalism. I do not suggest using Ocean Diving for any excursions. They lack regard for the safety of their patrons and are dishonest in their customer service

I had an amazing time at Emotions by Hodelpa during my stay in October 17. The staff was super friendly, they had a number of buffets, and plenty drinks everywhere you turn. The animations were the best. We got to see Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and a plenty others. Special shoutout to Carlo! He did everything he could to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I'd recommend still purchasing an excursion from one of the onsite vendors or somewhere else because aside from the animations, some games, and one nightclub, there isn't much to do by way of entertainment.

Food was awesome, snorkelling was terrible outside the hotel. It was still a good time. Would I go back? Maybe if Mexico was significantly more expensive as they have both great food and snorkelling outside the hotel. I don’t want to pay $100 per person for a bus and boat ride only to share gear with strangers.

I loved the hotel. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The only complaint I have is that one time I called the reception at 10:30p for room service, and I was told by the desk that room service is only VIP guests. This caught me off guard because I had paid for an all inclusive stay for a whole week. Usually all hotels have room service, even if you have to pay extra. I was willing to pay, but I was told that VIP member were the only ones allowed to have room service.

It's ok if you like all inclusive mediocre you'll love it. I'm here for business and it's the best of a bad bunch locally. Rooms are clean, beds comfy and they are trying very hard. Juan Folio has had its day sadly

My family and I spent five nights at this gorgeous resort and we all had an amazing time! All of the employees were extremely friendly and made the trip memorable especially Ruth and Carlos. They have two buffets with yummy food and three restaurants with more yummy food. They have a bar located right on the beach which was very convenient. There are also daily scheduled activities which was super fun. I strongly recommend visiting!!!

Great resort! If you are looking for a family or couple resort this is it! Not a party scene. Weekends locals do come and hangout but i love the different atmosphere. Rooms are good. If you aren't happy with something they are happy to help you with whatever you need. Food is great. Always something to eat. Staff are friendly. Entertainment is so so. They need to up it a little but no big deal :). Beach is beautiful. No complaints here! I would recommend this resort to friends and family.

Great resort. Small, but a lot to keep you busy. Great staff..very helpful and friendly. Spacious rooms that are very modern and clean. Food was great with lots of variety. Loved my time here. Definitely returning.

Nice small resort. Initially, the service and information was horrible, nobody wanted to help with simple questions. Then we found some people that were super nice a liked doing their job. There is a mix of nice people and mediocre people working at this resort. The beach is small and mostly clean. Not the nicest rooms but still pretty decent. Small swimming pool, but not too bad. They have decent entertainment. In my limited experience, this hotel is nice but slightly overpriced.

I would definitely come back! Small and cozy, beautiful rooms, nice food, price is right, good attention, nice beach, nice pool. May is the perfect month to come. Not too many people around.

It's an new hotel, but in my experience, I didn't feel very comfortable, the buffet doesn't have a great variety, it's ok. The pool isn't big enough, you feel yourself trap with all the others. The only thing I enjoy wast rest into the beach. They have a nice place if you don't want to take sun like me, if not they also have a place for those who love take sun.

Finally one of the greatest place I enjoy there was the coffee shop. It's a nice place to be.

Modern and updated resort. Clean rooms and grounds. The pictures on their website were an accurate representation of the resort. WiFi was available throughout the resort, although it was slow at times it was better than expected from a Caribbean destination. The food was always decent, what you'd expect from hot tables in a buffet and we never had an issue with the restaurant meals.

It was annoying to book restaurant meals as it had to be done the day before between 9 and noon. The ladies booking it would always give you 'the business'. "We are full there might be a long wait!" And when we got to dinner it was a half empty restaurant.

A chic modern hotel. The food is good, but not that memorable. The water/beach is beautiful. Their WiFi usually works well but in the rooms it becomes slow. There are shows on most nights. The pool is a little small but still nice. Overall, a wonderful experience!
