  It's a nice place, but needs improvements like some rules for not allowing people music neither littering through the beach area.

  Always a great time. Every time we come we meet new people and always have an awesome time. I definitely have never had an issue with this gated community. Love it!!!!

  Located closed the sea, rooms are very cleaned, here are everything for live: full kitchen, rooms with air conditioner and the main: everything looks like new and seames that this apart hotel was opened just few month ago. ApartHotel located in the closed neighborhood, here is quit , safety, and here you can find shop, restaurants, bars and everything with good prices, cheaper than in town Puerta Plata

  Costombar, I'm told, is a quasi-private sub-division of Puerto Plata. For example local taxis are allowed to enter but the driver or taxi service must have prior identifiable approval evidenced by a sticker on the drivers side of the car's windshield. The public is also free to enter. All hotels or rental properties are within walking distance to the beach. There are bars and restaurants also.I like to believe I discovered Costambar only because few visited when I began coming here six years ago. These days the beach is packed on Saturdays and Sundays. No more weekly isolation for me. I must now share what had never been mind, my escape from New York savagery.
