  Beautiful hotel, incredible views, everyone really friendly and lovely. Kid and pet friendly, there are many animals around and a beautiful swimming pool with a fish and frog pond. The hotel is still being built, and it is far far up a narrow dirt road, but the location is wonderful and it is also easy to visit and dance at a nearby clomado and see local the Dominican life and culture. Samaná the town is also lovely, but you won't see views like this from anywhere else around.

  Excelente lugar para alejarse del bullicio de la ciudad y descansar en perfecta paz y armonía con la naturaleza.

  I just return from a Dominican Republic north Coast trip. We stayed at Cocuyo and its was perfect from the friendliness of the staff, the Casita, breakfast, etc.
  This is the place to getaway from the city madness.

  A real paradise..
  a natural balcony looking the magical Samana Bay..
  you can see humpback whales from the terrace
  comfort and nature in the same pack.

  Cocuyo is one of my favorite places on earth! Stunning views, beautiful setting, impeccable rooms and the loveliest staff. If you want to be off the beaten track and experience the best that the DR has to offer, this is the place. A hidden gem!
