  Spectacular location / great cuisine by Chef Pierre. Well worth the trip. If driving, do not follow Google, which will direct you to the road at the bottom of the cliff, rather use Waze, or Google directions on foot.

  Wow! My husband and I just came back from El Sueno Azul where we stayed for 4 nights and we had an amazing time in this charming bed & breakfast.
  Pierre and Vanina were the most caring and sweet hosts we could have. They would keep telling us to make ourselves at home.
  The way up might be a little steep, but we have been up and down during our stay with standard economic car with no problem.
  
  The room is absolutely lovely with a stunning sea view.
  
  The breakfast is served at El Monte Azul (famous restaurant in the region), where Pierre and Vanina are serving you fresh fruit juice (passion fruit for instance), fruit salad, crepes, fresh baguette, delicious!! While starring at the 360 view of the landscape with the ocean everywhere.
  Apparently when you come around February and March, you can see the whales from there!!
  Samantha, the lovely parrot is singing La Marseillaise on the only Olive Tree of Dominican Republic.
  It is to be noted that this bed & breakfast is entirely sustainable. They store the water from the rain and the roof is covered with solar panels. Pierre even growths its exotic fruits, fresh herbs and vegetables.
  Honestly, my husband and I were delighted and we still are.
  
  Would definitely go back.
