WATERED DOWN DRINKS TO THE MAXIMUM POWER OF ZAMUNDA!!!! Don’t Waste your time .we bought the VIP Package , for the all inclusive and all we got was watered down drinks the whole night.. don’t think about dancing with your partner in this place , because you can’t even move , packed like sardines the only thing that was good was the shows . but if you want to see a show , go see a show pay for a show this is not the night club experience . its a Watered Down Las Vegas Show in The Dominican Republic.

Talented performers and impressive acrobatics. However unless you're willing to shell out extra 200+ dollars on top of your entrance fee, I'd save the money for cirque Di Solei, or Broadway, both cheaper, more comfortable and immensely more impressive. CB packs people into (standing) spaces like a can of sardines, except on stairs, for hours. Couldn't enjoy the show as much since I was more concerned about falling when I tried to dance.

Incredible place with fenomenal show performed by so many artists that really entertain you the best way! Good drinks. Good service for so many people. The music is perfect cause it's basically all type. They make you smile and dance the whole night! It's a must place in Punta Cana!!! Highli recommend it!!!

What a unique and amazing experience. The staff was friendly, the drinks were strong, and a very inexpensive evening considering you're there all night long. The performances we're outstanding and I cannot wait to go again. They have other locations.

A really unforgettable experience, all the people of security and service in general were very kind. The drinks were good, the music was amazing and the shows were absolutely insane with very professional dancers. The lighting and sound were amazing. In general it was one of the best places to go dance and have a good time. I would repeat this without a doubt.

Phenomenal show. I had no idea what I was getting into beforehand and was taken aback by the breath of pop culture they borrow from, in a good way. From Star Wars to Madonna, the Coco Bongo show has it all. The drinks are great and it's an open bar, so you can drink as much as you like. The space is kinda cramped tho, and moving around can be an issue.

I had called for bottle service and the lady confirmed it was unlimited bottles for my group. When I got in , they told me it was open bar. I could live with the open bar but I caught them watering down the liquor. I had asked the bartender to drink one of my drinks and he confirmed that it was watered down. There is good energy but you need to be careful if they think they can take advantage of you , the waiter will serve you water with a touch of liquor.. I felt disgusted as soon as I caught them in the act.

One of the best places I’ve been to. Definitely a must! If you like clubs - go. If you like shows - go! If you want to do anything involving a good time - definitely go! You won’t be disappointed. Definitely upgrade to VIP if you don’t like crowds though.

The shows were a lot of fun but the shot girls are pretty annoying. With the $5 watered down shots they are looking for an easy payday. Make sure to tip the person bringing you drinks for faster service and make sure you tell him to make them stronger.

One of the best nights out I've ever had and certainly the best night club I've ever been to. We didn't end up getting VIP and were still happy although it's a little crowded. This was the highlight of my trip to Punta Cana! It's an experience, I can't say more than that as words and pictures don't do this place justice. It's something everyone should get to experience.

Please read!!!!! My friend & I recently went on a vacation to iberostar at bayahibe beach (breathtaking & lovely to say the least). We wanted to have one night of fun and dancing & our excursions rep offered us a night at coco bongo for $75 transportation & open bar. The bus service was a bit long as it picked up other people at other resorts & it took a little over an hour to get there (our resort was on the other side of Punta Cana so that's prob why). We went on a Tuesday & it was decently packed - nothing too obnoxious where you couldn't move. We got there around 10:45 & the bus brought us back at 3. At first I was a bit weary as I didn't want to be bored staying out THAT long. The opposite actually happened! Time flew by & my friend and I were immediately given exceptional service by the servers - drinks served to us while on the dance floor. The shows & entertainment were phenomenal!!! We even got to dance on stage in one of the shows!!!!! Definitely a memorable experience - my friend and I want to visit DR again just to go back to coco bongo!!!!

Really great shows, amazing vibes.
Only problem is the general area doesn't have chairs to seat and relax between shows.
The party starts as soon as you stand in front of the entrance.
This is a must do in Punta Cana.

One of the craziest clubs I've ever experienced. The show production was absolutely outstanding and nothing like anything I have ever seen in the states. Definitly recommend going, it's very entertaining. However there is a lot of standing and drinks are watered down. But you will enjoy it!

So I went to DR in Sept. 2016. I know I'm late on my review, but anyways. We bought our tickets online and we did the $70 tickets. We had an AH-MAZING time. I would recommend to everyone that visits DR. Even if you can't afford the VIP tickets. We danced the entire night. On top of the bar and all. Just wear comfortable shoes. This is a place to be cute but not to dressy. Even the wait in line wasn't bad. We had entertainment from the time we got in line until we left. We still talk about this place now. I'm going back to DR in June and I will def be going back here.

I don't like clubs and am not a late night person, but this was an awesome time. The show was great, but we did a few things based on other reviews to make sure the night worked for us: we paid the $120 each for VIP tickets through their website (not the sales people that walk around the resorts), we got there early, we took a personal taxi from our resort instead of a bus, and we took that same taxi home at about 1:30 or 2 when we were ready- getting back to the hotel at 3:30 or 4am would have been too much for us personally.

VIP is a must if you want a good view, clean and uncrowded bathrooms, and seats. You'll be standing in line outside for an hour to 90 minutes and packed in like sardines otherwise. Also, if you get there a little before 1030, you'll get a seat at the outside bar by the dancers and can watch the buses show up and the lines start to form. Then the bouncers will come get you around 10:45-11pm and usher you back before anyone else.

The staff keep your drinks full and are very friendly. Bring money to tip, and bring money to tip the woman in the bathrooms. She's not following people in to check and see if they're doing drugs like one reviewer said (paranoid much, lol), she goes into whichever bathroom is being used and gets you paper towel/turns on the faucet and has a little tip jar.

Anyway, we probably spent a few hundred bucks for 2 people but for unlimited drinks, a hilarious and entertaining 5-hour show, and transportation and tips, that's a bargain. I recommend this if you do it the right way

This place is pushy and over priced! Their reps will follow you around your resort trying to get you to go for days with hyped up prices $60 for ladies on ladies night with free gift (you just paid for it lol)/$65 for guys, $75 on other nights. We finally settled on $35 pp to go and have a table at the exterior bar with open bar. Far less crowded and more enjoyable for us anyways. Ive hear upwards of $120 for certain vip areas. Price usually includes transportation to and fro. But being there to 3,4, or 5 am will drain you. Also colocated with a Subway and Dennys. Also there must be a drug issue at this club because the female staff follow men into the bathroom to ensure they arent doing drugs.

Better off going to Drink Point its free and from what I heard more popular.

definitely check this out if you're staying in Punta Cana. Incredible show and a very well run and organized place for something this size. I originally thought the show might but corny but it really was a great time! take the VIP option if you can. The staff was great everywhere but really took care of us in VIP.

Music and entertainment : 4 stars, atmosphere: 2 stars

The show was very good, lots of energy, cool recreations of movie scenes and music videos, Acrobatics, singing and dancing.

The Room was packed though, no room to move around, hard to get drinks, and too many overly drunk people falling over and throwing up.

I'm not a club fan so I was not looking forward to being committed to being there till 4 in the morning. I was excited once I got there and saw a group of dancers hyping up the waiting line. It was crowded inside and girl inside told us we needed to pay 120$ American to get a seat. We said no and stood in front of a reserved table next to the stage. We had open bar bracelets and ordered a round and I slipped the waiter $20 bucks. He brought 4 drinks and put them on the reserved table that we ended up getting. Thanks bud!! Ended up giving him a good amount of tips but he was great. Even brought us bottled water every half hour so we didn't get blackout drunk.
I never had an empty glass and he brought tequila shots every second trip. We had a great table and the show was amazing. I couldn't stop dancing the whole night. 4 in the morning came to quickly after that. Crowded? Yes
Worth it ? Definitely

Not recommend. I've never been in a club as crowded as this one. No room to move or to dance. Room is overcapacitated every night. Good luck getting a drink with that open bar ticket. Shows are cool, buy a VIP ticket if you want to have a minimum of space.
