This is a resort of luxury. And has an adult only section of the resort that is huge! I cannot recommend this place enough. Highly recommend splurging for the butler service. Find out why the rich and famous go here. And dont forget to tip, you beautiful bastard! Five stars is not enough. Stop reading this review and book your ticket now.

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. It was beautiful, clean, and lots of fun. My son had his wedding there 7 years after his sister did the same. We all enjoyed it so much, he decided to go back for his own wedding. The service is top notch. You will be treated like royalty. I highly recommend this for your next vacation destination.

This was my first experience outside of the US. Thanks to my amazing Boyfriend who surprised me with this romantic most beautiful resort an destination for my 40th Birthday! The staff went out of their way to accommodate all my requests and wishes. The Butler Victor Sosa was amazing and even went out of his way to set up an romantic dinner.

I live in Florida but the white powdery sand ,and clear waters were breathtaking.

Thank you to all the Staff at the Majestic for making this an amazing trip!!!

Gorgeous. A large complex, but not overwhelming. Great food. Not impressed with the beach. Non resort guests gave me trouble about moving their chairs too close. Because I had paid extra for the private beach, I was not happy about their so so response. The room was magnificent. The resort is divided into sections based on pay. Wristbands.

My husband and I stayed at the Majestic Elegance for 4 nights. We really enjoyed our time here and I highly recommend upgrading to the Majestic Elegance club. Worth your money. Our butler Wiser was AWESOME! He made sure we had everything we needed and made our stay great. One complaint we did have was the service at the bars. Some of the bartenders were unfriendly and the drinks were very weak. When asking to use the top shelf liquor, you got a sense of attitude. If you can find beach bartender July- she was great. Go into a mindset that service will not be superb at certain place and you will have a great time. Food was very good. Our favorite place to eat was the hibachi grill- reservations required. Our least favorite was the French Restaurant (reservations also required). The room was great- very spacious and very clean. Bring singles for tips. Overall good experience.

Fantastic food! Staff is also quite friendly. The check-in and check-out was a pleasant and painless experience. Having your own personal "butler" to attend to your needs was great - our guy was one of the nicest people you could ever meet.

I couldn't quite give it 5 stars though as there were a few minor "complaints" that I had:
- Power goes off in the room during the day while you're out, so you can't charge your devices.
- The A/C in our room didn't work that well.
- The lobby bar is quite chaotic and disorganized, so it can take a while to get a drink there.
- We went in February, so the pool was a bit chilly (they don't heat them due to the climate, so don't be surprised!)
All in all though we really enjoyed ourselves here and would definitely come back!

My husband and I stayed at this resort for our Honeymoon, and we left with no complaints! The food, the service, and the staff were amazing! Everything was kept so clean, and there was so much fun activities going on throughout the day/evening. Everyone was so friendly! We could not have picked a better destination!

What a wonderful resort and experience. My husband and I were very much impressed with the quality of service and facilities. As soon as we got to the resort, we were welcomed with a drink. The check in process was so easy. We did upgrade to the elegance club and enjoyed it quite a bit. At check-in we were met by out butler who showed us to our room, which was very spacious and spotless. We were very much impressed with how well kept the resort was and by how wonderful the staff was.

Everything at this property is so well kept. The beaches are beautiful and you are really able to decide whether you want to spend your day by one of the pools or the oceans.

We were particularly impressed with the quality of the food. All of the restaurants were wonderful. However, our favourite was the Italian one. We so much enjoyed talking to the employees. Pedro was so great to converse with. We really felt like everyone working at the resort did their very best to ensure we enjoyed our stay to the fullest.

It was a wonderful experience and we can't wait to come back.

The resort was absolutely beautiful! Service was amazing and the food was to die for. Alfredo took great care of us at check in and check out. All of our needs were met on this vacation. Pedro was amazing! No matter what restaurant we were at he was always there to make sure everything was great! Definitely coming back next year!

This place is lovely and the staff is what makes it amazing. From the daily pool events/ nightly entertainment, the wait staff and top shelf liquor. What else can you ask for? There are plenty of food options, you just have to find the place you like to eat the most. I'm already planning my next trip. ❣

2 weeks ago was at this amazing resort. Service was great food amazing!! Beach and pools are beautiful. Have to say my wife and I will return soon thanks to everyone for making this paradise. Truly thanks to Jon Rafael he was so good with keeping everyone having fun. Shows were fun just great experience at this beautiful resort.

I vacationed with 10 other coworkers and we ALL had an amazing time. The rooms were great and spacious, fridge was always stocked. Pools were amazing and clean, ENDLESS alcohol, entertainment was great and service was awesome.
Lots of great food and airport shuttles prompt and efficient.
I would highly recommend this resort

Let me start by saying this resort has a lot of potential. Our initial experience was not good. Our first room was ground floor facing the Colonial Hotel stage and a wall. The staff stuck 4 full size beds in that room. My wife was not happy. We eventually got better rooms, but we were so angry that we retired for the night from all the anguish. There is no such thing as a queen size bed at this hotel, at least not for the junior suite, just full and king. This leads me to believe it was made for adults only. Our second room was really nice and on the second floor facing the pool with a bit of a beach view. The ride to the hotel is about 25 minutes from the airport. The staff was hit or miss. The best guy, hands down, is Roberto at the bar in the upstairs lobby. BEST GUY!!!! Go see him. Everyone should be more like him. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the staff could be a bit nicer. Our room service was good for the first few days and then starting lacking. Save your tips for those who do a GOOD job. Not all were grumpy, but one spoils the bunch. Back to the hotel, The grounds are well maintained and the pool is awesome. This is were we spent most of our time when we were not doing excursions. For me seven days was way too much. I would prefer three to five days here. Which by the way speaking of excursions save your money. Everything is way overpriced, and the snorkel mouth piece is reused for the next guy yuck. Bring your sunblock, it's $35 dollars for a Nivea bottle at the hotel shop. If you want booze, buy it at the shop and not the airport. The duty free shops charge more go figure. All this and I forgot to mention that I was born in the Dominican Republic. I hope this helps anyone looking to travel.

Pretty Good

This was the third all-inclusive resort we've stayed at. The other two were in Mexico. The resort is in good repair and the room was nice and clean and spacious. We had a swim-up room with indoor jacuzzi. The pool outside the room wasn't very spacious but there were other options. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The food was above-average but not excellent. Overall, a good experience.

Excellent views on the water, water sports were reasonably priced, pools/pool areas are very clean. We paid for the elegance club upgrade. I do not recommend paying for the upgrade. We were supposed to get 24/7 room service.. however, after midnight (sometimes earlier) no one would answer their phones. The food here was not the best (both buffets offer the same food). French restaurant was good and food there was served warm. We enjoyed the live shows and went to each one during our stay. Sandra (entertainer) was wonderful! She got us to enjoy activities throughout the day, and dance on stage at night. When coming make sure to pack and emergency kit. At one point we had to buy a box of bandaids because not one part on the resort had them(strange) which was very over priced. Would constantly ask for bottled water as I know many people who come to the DR get sick from their tap water. Overall, very family friendly but if it wasn't for the smiling staff I would not return.

Every little detail was taken care of. Our Butler Santo was very good at making sure we were not in need of anything. The staff was friendly and attentive! The resort was spotless! Food was very good and a great variety! Everything that could make for a wonderful vacation!

Beautiful and clean resort. Staff is super friendly. Lots of sea weed the first couple of days, but got better. Sand is really soft. Pools are clean and refreshing.

This was my first experience at an all-inclusive resort and it was fantastic! I knew what to expect going into the vacation, but I didn't realize how well and executed it would be. Absolutely amazing service and an excellently kept resort, the photos are extremely accurate! Multiple times on the trip I thought I had to make sure what I was looking at was real because of the beautifully vibrant colors of the resort theming. I could not recommend this resort enough, I would go back in a heart beat if I didn't want to travel to other locations and try new things! Will not disappoint!

Excellent all-inclusive resort. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The food wasn't always amazing, but I didn't feel hungry the entire week. Room was very spacious and stayed cool. Beach was beautiful! Paradise!

Recommendations: 1) Bring more sunscreen than you think. It's $25 for a small bottle in the store on site. 2) Bring bug spray for the beach. I got eat up by sand fleas. 3) Bring your own big cup for drinks. They'll fill up anything. Otherwise you'll be going to the bar every 10 minutes because their cups are pretty small.

Fantastic resort, the staff is very friendly and very helpful. We were part if the elegance club which is the adults only side. On the adult side you will have a Hitler to help you schedule anything you need and take care of resort issues for you. The food and drinks where good and they had a great variety with clean facilities. The beach was fantastic and we missed spring break by 2 days.

This was my second time at this resort! The first time didn't go well at all we had an incident in our room that housekeeper had stolen money from our room totalling around $500! We reported it that day and spend half of our trip dealing with it! The resort never reimbursed us because there was no record of her in the room which was our mistake because we opened the room for her while we were about to leave to the beach so she never put her access card into the door and our safe wasn't working! We decided to come back and give it another try because other than the steaing it was an amazing resort! I just got back about three days ago and had a pretty good time! They had just opened another part of the resort called the Majestic Mirage! About four days into the Elegance part they sent out an envelope to one out of three rooms we had on changing sides of the resort to the Mirage to check it out since we were returning guest and we're allowed to continue our vacation on the new side! The envelope was dropped off at night while we were at dinner and didn't notice it till that night when we came back to the room to go to bed. The next morning we went up to the lobby and asked about it and spoke to He told us that we could come back later that day at 2 and get a visit before we decided to move over there. At 3 if we decided we would gather our things and move over! At 2 we met in the lobby and had a different lady at the counter and said that we were ready and she claimed that the offer was for yesterday? We decided to speak with the resort manager and come to find out they wouldn't allow us to move over because they claimed they had room issues? And we found out that they didn't want to move us over because we were returning guest but because they were over booked on the side we were on so they could fill our spots! We were beyond upset and kinda ruined the rest of our vacation because the rooms were much nicer! We had five us on this vacation and will never come back because of theses incidents! The food isn't the best and isn't labeled as well as the first time! If you have been at this resort before you can really tell they need some help on their grouting technique! My sister and her boyfriend and my parents were in building three and had there elevator down for about a day which wasn't nice when your on the top floor and it's 80+ degrees out! I hope this review helps others because we're not returning

Excellent resort. Had absolutely the best time, everything was pretty much perfection. The staff is so friendly and really make it you feel at home. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. Only thing about the rooms is the furniture is showing its age and wear and tear. Simeon drawers didn't close but that's very minor. We will definitely be back!

It was our first visit to the Dominican republic so we checked reviews a lot before choosing a resort and I honestly have no regrets in booking majestic elegance. The resort is spotlessly clean and laid out very well with plenty of bars and restaurants for the days and evenings.

The absolute shining asset at majestic elegance is it's team of friendly, fun and happy staff. We spent most days on the beach and would grab a cocktail from the pool bar near the club lounge where the staff were always so happy and friendly. Rosa was a real star, always happy and laughing and going out of her way to make sure you are enjoying your holiday.

Our butler Dario was also a great credit to the majestic team. After meeting on day two, Dario would always stop for a chat and to see if there was anything we wanted. Dario couldn't have delivered a better service.

I would highly recommend majestic elegance, and would advise anyone going to enjoy breakfast at see and sea restaurant and definitely try the steakhouse!!!

Fantastic vacation experience for the right price. Affordable luxury with a lot of options for food, drinks, live shows and events. Everyone there is super friendly, courteous and helpful. First place where i visited and did not have any issues. Rooms are spacious and newly renovated. They also just put the finishing touches on their new resort Majestic Mirage which is opening soon nearby to Majestic Elegance. Really enjoyed my trip which ranks top on list of places and I will be recommending to friends and family to visit here for sure.
