BRISTOL AFRICAN CARIBBEAN EXPO - 2018
The inaugural Bristol African Caribbean Expo was held in the city of Bristol on February 25, 2017. Though it was not the first expo to be held in Bristol, it was unique in many ways which will remain in place for the 2018 event.
LOCATION & VENUE
Bristol is a very diverse and mixed city with a large African Caribbean community, it is described as eclectic and cosmopolitan
THE EXPOSITION
The exposition itself consisted of 56 stalls which included products from a wide range, including, Health & Beauty, Nutrition, Writing & Publishing, Art, Music, Fashion, Film Making, Real Estate, Television, IT Services, Banking, Marketing, Legal Services, Personnel Services among others. There was also an allocation of stalls representing Local Charities, The NHS blood & Organ Donation & Diabetes Services, The Emergency Services and a Children & Young Entrepreneur space for the under 16 which were very successful in sales and promotion on the day. One young person has since launched an online clothing business because of demand from the Expo.
