Nice place to read a a lot about the history of Denmark
Turned into a fantastic place and experience.
Amazing rune stones from ancient times. Well worth a visit and if you book a tour you get the full story that finishes up inside the church revealing where the bones of the ancient king lies :)
New museum with background info is very good! And cheap, that is: free.
Absolute amazing experience in the museum. It was awesome.
Awesome (and free) museum and beautiful cultural landmark.
Denmark's christening certificate also a connection to Bluetooth. Good visitors centres, but the settings of the stones is perhaps a little under whelming.
Danish history 101. These stones commemorate the country's foundations by king Gorm the Old and his son Harald Bluetooth (whose name you know from the connective wireless technology).
Don't forget to look inside the church, or to go towards the little museum across the street to see how the stones originally looked when painted.
Very interesting Viking history. Highly recommended!
The museum is simply fantastic. Interactive displays and a thorough historical review of the Viking era.
Beautiful place.
Must visit.
It is a grave yard with not much to do, but there is an amazing resturant nearby callef Hopballe Molle
Nice and modern museum about Gorm the Old and the Danish History. It is possible to watch the Rune Stones and read some stories about those!
