  This inn is a combination of a restaurant and working museum. It is very picturesque, and located about 10-15 minutes outside Silkeborg by car. The rooms are small and very cozy, filled with old artifacts and pictures from the area. The beds are a bit short, but probably because this is the only way they would fit. There is no TV in the room. This hotel is dog friendly.

  Rustic surroundings, if you like that sort of thing. Was raining heavily, so I'd not see the hotel at its best. Breakfast ok, but not Paleo by any means. Fantastic collection of brandy, whiskey and others.

  Nice little inn with great food and very cosy different rooms. Lovely atmosphere with lots of fun ornaments in every room. Located directly on the river Gudenaaen.

  The place is beautiful! I went on the Christmas period and they have traditional danish decorations arround, it looks so pretty. The food was delicious and the service great.

  Nothing beats the location. Just next to Gudenåen. Very idyllic. Try the eels. They are great
