Great service, but little difference in flavour profiles in the vegetarian menu. Overwhelmingly sour dishes there. The Danish flavour tasting menu was great.
Be expected to wait between 15 and 20 minutes between tiny courses. We ended up eating a lot of bread to fill in the gaps in between and while it was very good bread, it's not why you go to a Michelin restaurant for. Of the various courses, only the lobster based yielded a true "wow" experience. Of the desserts, it was only a special lemon based cake that was truly delicious and that was only brought out as we were celebrating a birthday.
We selected the wine pairing option with additional "challenger" wine also selected but there was no question of us as to what we thought of the wines and whether the challenger was a better choice over the standard provision.
Overall, the food was good but not up to Michelin standard and definitely not worth the price. The service was slow and somewhat uninspired.
Wow! What an amazing experience! Our waiter was so knowledgeable and speaks 4 languages fluently and 3 others well. The entire meal was an amazing adventure of the palate and the wine was amazing. I highly recommend this place. Expensive, but worth it!
A really lovely but very long meal and we went for the smaller taster menu! Service was excellent and the food was unique and delicious. Food is small but deceptively filling. It's expensive but you get that when you go to any Michelin restaurant.
If you want to wait 30 min for each dish in a tasting menu I can recomended it. But I assume you dont have the patient for it. And the food is not worth the money neither. Really expensive for a Micheline too.
Good food but not worth the price and the service is not commensurate with the price nor the star rating
Sure the food was excellent but not that creative except deserts. Wine from different countries was original (new Zealand or chile). Service was pleasant even if it started too fast and ended too slow (all waiters were nice. Special mention to the Palestinian lady). Get ready to spend more than 4 hours in the place for the large menu. Back room was not big enough and too warm as open door (in summer) did not ventilate it (air conditioning would have been nice).
Taste was great. Service was decent. The back room, however, felt like a prison. Service felt much slower while staring at a wall. Not sure why they sat only one table for 3 hours in the back room that was definitely made for private parties.
Fantastic experience either way. But especially interesting (and sometimes funny) if you are familiar with the very traditional dishes of Denmark.
Set aside an evening, challenge your senses and tickle your pallet. Though it does take a while, the large tasting menu is all worth it.
Quite an experience - from the amuse bouche that lit up our tastebuds, to being moved to a nicer table when we asked, to the incredibly friendly staff, to the food - and the wine pairings. Did I mention the food? We mixed and matched between the vegan + vegetarian, with a meat main course, since neither of us like seafood. It was amazingly inventive; almost every dish worked. The presentation was an art in itself; we had fun discussions about the wine pairings, which seemed well informed. Completely deserving of its Michelin star. We found the pace to be about right for the quality of the food - it's leisurely, not slow, as some complained - but we were enjoying ourselves, and the time just slipped by. Of course, this doesn't come cheap - but it was worth it.
Wonderful food, presented cleanly and with just enough flair. For New Years Eve it was a bit drawn out without any real crescendo or high point, and some waiting in between courses and drinks. A great meal that needs better timing.
Exciting experience. Very tasty dishes out of rather common ingredients. Sat there for over 4 hours with the full menu. Amazing quality, but a tad too formal and pricey for my taste. Therefore only a 4.
The food was excellent, a challenge to all of your senses, visual and taste. The service was excruciating slow though, and the wine pairings/food explanation was lacking. if you have four hours to spend on a meal this place will offer you the chance to enjoy a culinary experience, but if time is important look elsewhere.
