family place to have fun, nice place animals looks health an playful. Can buy fast food coffee sweets. feed some of the animals walk with monkeys. drive the small train, big playground for kids.
It's big, lots of green, quite a variety of animals. But on a cold late fall Saturday, it was very empty and almost all cafés/restaurants were closed. It's also pricey.
Not as fancy as CPH Zoo but more immersive.
A fantastic zoo. Big areas for the animals, beautiful decorations and a well made tour. Very accessible and great for children.
One of the prides of Odense is definately the ZOO. I highly recommend to go and see the penguins. Their habitat is unlike any other ZOO penguin habitat I have ever seen. Also, go see the Sibirian tiger and the red panda!
Disgusting excuse for a zoo. Instead of giving 'excess' animals to other zoos, they are killed and dissected in front of the public. Avoid this sick, neanderthal run zoo.
The best Zoo I have visited for a long time. There are no widest range of animals, there is no something special but there is great atmosphere and good customer experience.
One of the cutest zoo ever. Very entertaining and many food options also. It's affordable and great location.
The best Zoo experience in the World. Perfect meeting first hand with all the animals. Good place for kids and exciting for the adults.
Very nice zoo, everything is clean and tidy. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The animals seems happy. Over all one of the best zoos I have ever been to.
Quite nice new areas, whare you can visit the kangaroos and wallabies, and the red panda has gotten new facilities as well, to allow it better freedom of movenment.
In the tropical house you actually walk among the animals and might meet a small monkey face to face.
Great zoo with focus on animal life quality and teaching visitors, especially children about the life cycle in nature. Birth, life and death are common subjects.
Excellent zoo. Plenty of activities for children. Perfect size. The interaction with monkeys is so nice
Nice sized zoo with a lot of interesting information services. The zoo spans the river and you can access the zoo from the river path as well (buying eticket online) and you can even take the boat from the city centre to the stop in the middle of the zoo. For a nice summer day it is the perfect little add-on to the zoo experience.
The penguin habitat is especially fun - some of the penguins seem to enjoy staring at the visitors as much as the other way around. The habitat is unlike in many other zoos closed off and kept at a more normal temperature level for the penguins.
Small zoo with a lot of cool programs! tiger feedings and training hour is pretty rad, though good luck getting a good view (unless you are 3m tall) ;) the turtle house is phenomenal! ahh, such cool tortoises! the lemur house and aviary are also quite exciting. they do not offer turtle rides, however, nor do they sell the lion meat after dissection - both of which are terrible financial decisions on their part. great playground and petting zoo for the kids! lots of adorable goats to cuddle and squeeze to your heart's content. close to the train station and easy to find.
