Perfect place for families with children, for youth and for seniors. Big collection of books, cds, magazines. Beautiful view and nice location.

Lovely modern building and library. Why can't we have facilities like this in Britain? Probably because political parties here are too scared to increase taxes to fund public services properly. They could learn something from Denmark.

The best library/museum/event venue I have encountered. Spacious, quiet, has nice facilities including a cafe. Every season there are new art exhibitions, shows. Overlooks the beautiful Hamlet's castle and the harbour. No better place to read a book.

Love this place. There are always cool exhibitions and the animation one they have every summer is super nice. Lots of books, computers and cozy places to hang around, and a very nice café.

Great place to chill with a book, enjoy the view of the harbor and Kronborg, enjoy a meal inside or outside. Also a major concert venue attracting international names. Sunday brunch is spot on, very cozy and often has live music.

I really like the place. It is close to the castle, the old city center and the maritime museum. In summer there are many seats outside and a truck serving drinks and ice creams. The restaurant inside is usually pretty good, even though it runs somewhat quickly out of smorrebrod after peak lunch time :) The building contains also a space for children and other amenities.

Kulturværftet (The Culture Yard in English) is a cultural centre located in Helsingør, Denmark. The center was established in 2010, in the buildings of the former Helsingør Værft or Elsinore Shipyard. Kulturværftet is part of Kulturhavn Kronborg, a project by the city of Helsingør to leave the industrial era behind and enter a new chapter for the town. Kulturhavn Kronborg is a joint initiative between Kronborg Castle, the Danish Maritime Museum, Kulturværftet, and Helsingør harbour, and is designed to offer a variety of cultural experiences to residents and visitors.
