We have been a loyal customer of the Georg Jensen store at Amagertorv for the past 30 years, both when living abroad and when living in Copenhagen. We have time and again received good service at your shop, being one of the main reasons we shop Georg Jensen’s products and shop at Amagertorv. But to our surprise, today on 25th April 2016, we were treated extremely poorly at the Georg Jensen shop at Amagertorv.
On the said date we tried to exchange an unopened Georg Jensen Bernadotte Thermo, which we had received as a gift (and of which we have one already), to other items in the store, however, were told that Georg Jensen could not allow us to exchange this thermo to other items, because ‘the exchange label is not on the box’ and ‘we have our rules because we are a big company’. What a change from previous service at Georg Jensen Amagertorv, and what a disappointment. The service was not carried out with proper care and attention, and your store just lost an immediate sale of several thousand kroner, as well as a long-time loyal customer, - because of ‘rules’ and being ’a big company’. Sad!
