Huge scam company!
Stay far away from this company. Flat and scam all the way through.
They can offer a new change of ownership insurance in less than 3 hours, but when the damage occurs there is a processing time of many months. Great!
The damage is then dismissed with their standard response that it is to be expected from a house of this age.
We ourselves had a construction expert and engineers out to inspect the damage before Dansk Boligforsikring got out of the starting holes, and the two impartial experts are in total disagreement with Dansk Boligforsikring.
When it takes them 4 months to respond to each inquiry, it is simply the quality of life you owe directly down the drain if you have to spend your time with this company.
Stay far away - unfortunately found out too late that this company has the worst name in the market and their whole business model is to scam people

Worst insurance ever.
When I made a change of ownership insurance when buying my house and discovered that the heat in the house was knocking out so I had to turn it off. It took them 4 months to review that they should pay for the repair. And when I had another case they refused to help after a long time of thinking on their part. Even if they had said they would before I got it repaired. Stay far away from those scammers

Drags things out. Rejected my claim at first. And I was relieved that this was to be expected from a house of that age + that the damage must have only occurred after I took over. After which I myself paid a construction expert to inspect the damage to the house, who said they were 5-7 years old. So Even after the 1st damage that was not written about in the condition report, it took more than 6 months to get it right. And then they would cover with DKK 8,000 which of the DKK 5,000. was at my own risk. And when they had to agree on the wall on the scope of the work, they NEVER agreed. Would only cover a third or less of what the mason thought he needed to repair. This is now the 2nd time I have contacted them with things that are not listed in the condition report, even though they write in their contracts that they cover the damage as mine. - So now I'm patiently waiting again for probably 6 months for a decision that I probably can't use for anything anyway. One thing is what was legal about the behavior of the house. But if the owner himself commits some fraud in connection with renovation. Then it cannot be held that it was legal at the time of the conduct if it was made 20-30 years later!

Very long and unsatisfactory processing times!

I waited almost 3 weeks for an inspection consultant to contact me. I am then told that it will take 9 weeks before the case is processed further. That means at least 12 weeks (3 months!) from when the damage is reported.
