Located at The Danish Film Institute, Cinemateket is a one-of-a-kind cinema that screens a wide range of classics and themed film series - mostly art-house, rare or cult in nature.

Always prefer The Cinematheque to other places in city. Can't explain my emotions, it's probably because of the good things that have happened with me there. Will be soon back :)

A good cinema with a broad selection of showings, from cult to mainstream and even some special stuff for small children.

Pretty cool cinema place where they show some sweet Danish movies with English subtitles to help you understand. But overall, it is a definite good place to be at.

Best cinema in town!! Always good and relevant - although sometimes old - movies. Great music movies and events. Psych-out b-movie nights.

I really enjoy this Cinema as it show's non mainstream movies, documentaries, biographies etc. For example this month they are showing a lot of music films and documentaries of which I really enjoyed "Mavis". A real feel good movie.
There's also events on occasion, a restaurant, a cafe and a book shop I suppose you could define it as. The location is just across from the Kings Gardens so keep that in mind if you're at loss of something to do on your visit to Copenhagen.
