Location: not really in the City Center but close enough to reach everything on the bicycles they have. 1 star
Reception fast and efficient. 1 star
Cleanliness and maintenance good. 1 star
Room: cosy, big enough, small bathroom. We had a room facing the Boulevard, ok with windows closed, extremely noisy with open windows, luckily Copenhagen goes to bed early so the night was ok. 1 star
Restaurant: what they serve is of excellent quality, the service at the Lobby bar is excellent. 1 star

The staff at the Avenue Hotel Copenhagen are very friendly, professional and helpful and the reason for a 4 star rating. The hotel is old fashioned but is well maintained and very clean. There are very good quality toiletries provided and good showers. However the downside of these rooms include a lack of tea and coffee facilities available in the rooms and the beds are slightly uncomfortable. On a positive note the hotel is a 5 minute walk from Forum metro station which accesses the airport in approximately a 20 minute journey.

Nice hotel, nice location. Rooms are clean, bed is comfortable. Breakfast buffet was alright. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

The staff at the front desk were so friendly, kind and professional! Our room was quite nice and I would definitely stay there again as it was a very nice hotel.

Friendly an efficient staff. Decent breakfast spread but pancakes and bacon extra.
Fairly central and they have bike rental for city mobility.

The hotel was beautiful and very accommodating. The patio was very tasteful and they host a "wine hour" with a complementary glass of red or white wine. Very helpful in recommending where to go around Copenhagen. We had a great experience.

Friendly staff (typical of Copenhagen). At first, the room was not so great. It was small, dusty and housekeeping attempts to remove the dust did not improve the situation. We were offered a better room, and we received complimentary breakfast and beverages. This was cool.

It's expensive and for American standards is quite a let down. Small rooms, dated bathroom However they have nice perks, including the wine hour everyday at 5pm. Great way to chat with other guests and meet the staff. It's very well situated, close to the metro and 15 mins walk from downtown.
