  I come from the UK and have been having brazilian waxing since I was 19. I've experienced a lot of bad waxing but also lots of good. Wax in the City in my opinion is up there as one of the best! I moved to Germany in 2006 and unfortunately Germany is way way behind the times when it comes to beauty treatments and fashion and the brazilian trend has only just taken hold in the last few years. When I found Wax in the City it was like a dream come true! FINALLY I could feel beautiful again and have a decent 'haircut' ;) I now travel over an hour to Wax in the City Leipzig JUST so I can have my waxing there. I've tried other local studios that offer 'intim wachsen' but always go back to Wax in the City- they are fast, accurate, reliable, professional, clean, experienced and just do a fantastic job! I love the 'walk in service' system and the loyalty card scheme. Prices are excellent too and at the going rate. I'd say they are even better than the waxing studios I've visited in the UK! The skin feels amazing afterwards and the products are great. I am a huge huge fan and wish every town in Germany had a Wax in the City studio! I know they have opened a studio in Ireland - please please open studios in the UK!!! :) I am going to be moving soon to West Germany and my choice of city will depend on whether there is a Wax in the City studio or not! Seriously! I cannot express enough how amazing Wax in the City are and how happy I am to have finally found them! The staff also are friendly, helpful and speak both English and German plus other languages! :) Very very happy. If I could give them 10 stars I would! Suggestions for Wax in the City for further improvements? I'd say maybe offer 'sugaring' and 'threading' as other forms of hair removal for 'kinder to skin' options. :)

  I went to Wax and the City in Leipzig, without and appointment and was pleasantly surprised that they spoke English (which isn't always the case, and my German is terrible if not nonexistent). I'd been to another studio up the street, where the next available time was three days later, if we understood each other right, the communication mainly consisted of arm movements, writing numbers and laughter.
  
  There was hardly any wait, they were really professional, and it didn't hurt as much as it can do. Also they made sure that they informed me about the importance of peeling after the treatment (which I had never heard before), and my skin stayed softer and smoother way longer than other times. Also it was a very welcoming, clean and bright studio and the staff was super nice! I strongly recommend it.

  Extremly professional. I ve tried many different places and i have to say that this studio gave me a nice experience and value for my pocket.

  The girls in the salong where fantasitic!! Very helpful and profesional. I will definetly return for a new apointment next time in in town. Easy to find and it was not dificult to book an apointment comparing to the salongs in Sweden where you have to wait for days. Wax in the city squezed me in with only minutes notice, Im very pleased!
