Fraud. They overcharged me
I wanted to pay for my beer but I didn’t know how much it was exactly.
I asked the waiter the bill in english but he told me in german and I couldn’t understand.
So I showed him all my coins to let him take the cost.
He swept up all coins in my hand without any mentions and left my table.
After that, I recalculated the cost and realised that I had paid much more than i should have!
It was such a unpleasant experience in Germany.response / report this review -

Great beer
Do not dare to miss this place. It offers you a variety of local self-made beers you can enjoy in small glasses, thanks to which you can enjoy many different types of beer. Great location in the heart of the old part of Dusseldorf. The staff is kind and professional, but not willing to become friends of yours. Still, the beer is good and that is the point. The food they offer is rather traditional, so don’t expect any soya/veggie/gluten free/sugar free dishes.response / report this review -

This is a local brewery with local food and local beer. The atmosphere is a bit specific but very nice and interesting. It is something different than a regular restaurant and you need to take this into account when you go there. Food and beer is great. I really liked that the staff is always there to keep your glass full. They are very helpful too.

Part of the Düsseldorf experience is stopping by here on a sunny day for a beer on the patio that spills over on the road. Good beer, friendly staff, and excellent food inside.

A great place to drink a couple of beers. We were there for our christmas dinner and had a buffet with traditonal food.

Top brew pub in Dusseldoof! Excellent Alt Bier. Nice setting. Great old building. Good service. Memorable German food. Best young crowd and informal Company. Easy to get connected.
