  I really love the German pork here! Very delicious but I think it's nice for 2 people to share. We saw a Japanese guy who couldn't finish it all lol it's really too much for 1 person. The environment and atmosphere is very good. I would love to visit there again when I go to Köln next time :)

  Such a beautiful place to have dinner. Awesome patio, amazing interior and you have to see the 400 year old cellar where you can dine. Food isn't cheap, but is welllllll worth it. Desserts were amazing as well, we had the Strudel, Crème Brulé, and the Sorbet. All were delicious.

  Cannot recommend this place enough. 500 year old house, so the atmosphere was awesome. Service was out of this worldwe were there 3:00pm on a Wednesday! Food was very goodnot fine diningbut great old school German food.

  Pretty cool restaurant. Actually not a beer garden, though they were happy for me to sit here for a beer but seemed to prefer us to order. Not all that bad though, and nice location and atmosphere. Really should have had something to eat.

  A really authentic German Gasthaus. We had fantastic and friendly service, amazing food and a great atmosphere. I will come back here the next time I'm in Cologne!

  It's a great restaurant and that's probably why it's always so crowded. You can't go wrong with any dish you choose, everything was great. The staff were helpful and super friendly. The restaurant was cozy and comfortable. Definitely worth a visit if you're ever in town. Authentic, delicious German cuisine.

  Visited the Brungs while at the Cologne Christmas Market. Wonderful ambience and the restaurant is situated in a very old vintage building that has been refurbished. Food was really great, as was the kolsch.
  Staff were really good, professional and very helpful even we don’t speak any German. English mean available.
  If you visit Cologne, you have to visit this restaurant!!!
