Probably will be great when complete. Now though? An absolute disaster. Trains cancelled. Often last minute too. An absolute nightmare when vfb Stuttgart are playing too. Avoid if you can. Hope after completion I can change this rating. Though I’m not going to hold my breath.

One of the biggest central stations in BW. You can find RB,RE and ICE to different states, (EU)countries.

Lot of construction work is in progress at the moment. S-bahn station is just the underground. Generally google map says you need 13min to reach S-Bahn station from Hbf. It just needs 5-7min. For your information platforms and the actual station are around 200away(where the construction work is in progress).

A sizable station near the city centre, international links as well as transport all across Germany. The platforms seem a little worn but there is adequate cover and seating.

Main station. Need to be patient due to construction but has lots of shops, including good alcohol free German beer on tap!

A little tricky to learn at first, but once you do its great. This is the main train station for Stuttgart. You can purchase 1 year tickets here, a lot to eat/shop, and built in the 1800s it is beautiful but modern as well. On each end above the U-bahn trains are people who can help. They speak both English and German. At least two at each end, and are in yellow shirts.

AKA Hauptbahnhof (hbf) if you're confused.

Not the simplest station to navigate if you've not been before. Doesn't help that a new station is being constructed in the same area, so outside is a building site for the next few years. But you'll get anywhere in the Stuttgart area from here.

You can get a free elevator to the top of the tower for a good view over the city centre, also works as a really helpful landmark.

I really like how well laid out the station is, each platform has a convenient shop to purchase from, some with yummy pastries! If you have time make sure you head to the toilet facilities first as they are away from the platforms, I didn't have time but alot of the trains have them also. If you have time to sit down, head around to the far right, there's a cute cafe around the corner towards the business building.

Main train station with multiple shops and eating places. Usefull if you want to eat something late at night or nust before catching a train. The only problem is that they dont have multiple screens to see the departure

It is clean enough and easily connected with center of city. S-Bahn and U-Bahn are easy to be reached. On the corridor, we can see the progress of their project, which is called Stuttgart 21. With those technologies in the future, I can not wait to see!

I didn't get to see terribly much of the station, but what I saw was fine, clean, safe looking. I got a tasty wurst at one of the kiosks and made my transfer.
