Tiny toilet was the main reason for the rating. Otherwise, the hotel location and room balcony were perfect!

Everything was great during our stay at Sternhotel Bonn. The location of this property cant be beat, its in the markt platz so everything is walking distance, from the shops, restaurants,church and most of all,bonn hbf. The hotel itself is lovely ,the guest rooms are well laid out, thinking of the comfort of the guests. The bathroom is stark clean which i liked the most. The towels are obviously new which is amazing coz it is annoying for me when hotels let the guests use quite old looking towels. The breakfast restaurant has just enough food variety for you to enjoy every morning. The staff of this hotel are very accomodating and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They treat each guests with outmost respect and importance which is what i love the most about this hotel. My husband and I always travel and we can honestly say that Sternhotel Bonn is one of the most satisfying place to stay at. So thank you Sternhotel Bonn for making our quick business trip a very memorable one! We will surely be coming back next year!

I loved everything about this hotel. It's ideally located, close to the Beethoven house and other attractions. The staff is extremely helpful, courteous and professional. I had a single room at the back, very quiet. It was immaculate, super clean and fresh. I loved the high ceiling and tall window that actually opened. Breakfast was included, and offered an array of cold cuts, cereals, fruit and yogurt, and marvelous cheeses. Wifi is available, although I didn't use it having left my laptop at home. An added bonus was the lively market in the square, still going strong in October. Enjoyed fresh veg and Broetchen mit Bratwurst and lunching with the locals at those little stand up tables.

Absolutely perfect location, very helpful staff and comfortable rooms.
An exceptionally well prepared breakfast (cheese, cold meat, hot meat, eggs, fruit, cereal, rolls, salmon, fruit juices, hot drinks, joghurts etc!)
Taxis available to order and embark from the main market square. Close to all the main city sights by foot and also the river Rhein and the parkland around Schloss Poppelsdorf.response / report this review -

Very friendly and clean but looking quite dated. This should not put you off as the place is immaculate and the breakfast excellent! They even give you some Haribo Gummi Bears on your pillow 😊
