Very pleasant staff. The twin private room is well worth the money. Very clean and quiet.

We stayed at the Sleepy Lion with our youth soccer team March 2017. Great place, great atmosphere and fantastic location. Staff were very accommodating and I would recommend it for group travel.

We stayed at Sleepy Lion Hostel with a bigger student group for a couple of nights. Leipzig is amazing and the hostel as well. Very close to the main things in town and even the university was just a jump away. Free WiFi available and that was important for all of us. I highly recommend that place!

We stayed here for a night and there was nothing to complain. The room was fairly clean and the staff friendly. We have not checked the breakfast though.

Great location, very helpful and friendly staff, decent value for the money, beds are comfortable, clean facilities, very secure and safe, and they have a fridge and microwave for guest use!!! Thank you!
Knocked off a star because these are the worst pillows I have ever experienced in my life, power outlets are few and kind of hard to access in some places, no bed lights, you have to constantly keep signing in to the wifi.response / report this review -

This hostel is a very central hostel but very cheap the service is good but you don't see much of it. There are 2 4 and 10 rooms which are all clean. The WiFi is free and pretty good if you're not too far away. Overall I had a very good impression and I recommend it to anyone that doesn't want to spend too much money but still be near the center
