Great place with a large selection of beer to choose from. A bit pricy compared to other places in Munich but its situated in a very touristy area. It gets rather busy and quite loud and hard to find a table at weekends. Food is also tasty. The staff are not so attentive so it takes a while to get served and get the bill. Patience is the key.
Really like this place. Friendly service, great Bavarian food, especially the white sausages but beware: they're only available before 12 o'clock midday. Any consumption after that is considered sacrilege.
Excellent tour! Staff treated us like visiting dignitaries. The beer tasting was informative (and delicious!), And the guided tour was amazing. If you come to Munich, don't miss it!
Your front door man/host pushed me. I was the next in line with my sister and mom. He touched and pushed me without my permission. Also yelled at me and said I was not allowed to have a seat. Excuse me???? Very RUDE!!! What kind of person pushed women like that? VERY SHAMEFUL FOR YOUR COUNTRY in the most famous tourist spot in Munich. The worse restaurant I've ever been.
The food was delicious. Unfortunately their services are the worstI am not happy with the way the waiter treat us, one of a young waiter say we can sit at any clean table, when we about to sit, an old lady waiter stop us from sitting saying we can't sit there. She proceed to arrange us a table beside toilet. Is it because we are Asian and we deserve such kind of treatment? Called 3 times for the bill and they even avoid eye contact with us. Really disappoint with the services.
I can recommend this place. I enjoy the beer. The suckling pig was quite good (better than others I tried in downtown Munich).
A bit too crowded, but that's what you get from most of Munich's beer halls. Schneider Bräuhaus provides a wider selection of beer variety than you'll get at the average beer hall though. The food was fine, though we had much better elsewhere.
Passing through, eager to discover a Bavarian tradition ? Then have a Bavarian brunch there. You will have to order before 11am (traditions prevail) and wheat beer with white sausages is what you'll have. It's called weißwurstfrühstück and there is no way around it. Have a good time! The restaurant is central, staff is not over-friendly but it's Munich, and anyway, you're here for sausages, and the beer.
Waitress was quite rude and was giving us pressure to order quickly. They charged us more for a cup of hot water than a glass of beer. Tried their roast deer which was expensive, which I expected but was thoroughly disappointed with the quality of the dish. Sausage was good, but the pork knuckle had little to be desired.
Good beer house but just go there for a beverage, not a feed.
Friendly people, great food, and fantastic cold beer!! I had crispy pork, sauerkraut, and a dumpling! And some awesome tasting cold beer. Met some wonderful people from Munich (a food editor) as well as a champagne maker from France. Wonderful people to talk to. Servers were very efficient and friendly. Great place to visit in Munich!
