Stumbled upon this beer garden at the end of a hot day. Although a small selection of food was offered, it was all very tasty. €6 for a 1lt of the house beer was not only a great price but the beer was very good also. Highly recommended for families with small children as there is a playground there as well. All staff were very friendly too! Only 5 mins from Nürnberg on the U1 train.

I was there for a catered event hosted at the brewery. The food was delcious especiallly the potato balls with gravy mixed with pulled pork. The beer at the brewery was delicioues for a light beer and pleasant to drink over dinner.

Bigger biergarten under the trees or under a stuffed crocodile. Food is regional and good but save the rave for elsewhere. Ideal for bigger groups or families with kids as a playground is within the perimeter fence of the biergarden and your kids can be observed over the rim of a beerglass

I was here 1 full year ago & I thought the service was bad then but I assumed it was a one time occurrence. I'm visiting Furth Germany again and found myself in the neighborhood so I figured "why not". Good heavens! Big mistake. In an establishment this big you could service 300+ people easily, there were about 8 patrons today. When I asked to be seated I was placed in the far back dark hidden corner by the toiletten and was literally forgotten about. 15 min later I had to walk up to a waiter so as to place my order. When my food arrived I was not given any utensils nor napkins, I guess they wanted me to eat w/my fingers and use the table cover as a napkin, so I obliged. What do I care, I live in Hawaii and in a week will be back in paradise where you are treated with some degree of decorum.

For all the English-speaking tourists: the negative reviews are the result of political backlash against the restaurant-owners. Nothing to do with the food or quality of service, which is quite good.

From the outside, looks like a lovely place, so tried to stop in to have a beer a bit before dinner time (around 4 pm). We were greeted by a woman who asked if we were eating. Once we explained that we only wanted to drink a beer she rudely informed us it was not possible because they had to prepare for 300 dinner guests, despite the fact that the entire large place was essentially empty and it seemed unlikely that two people sitting in a corner somewhere having a quick beer would really ruin the entire dinner rush in several hours. Although it was a very nice looking place from the outside, the unnecessary rudeness with which we were handled quickly eliminated any desire to stay there. Instead, we walked down the street to a little Irish Pub where the owner, an Irish expatriate, was immediately extremely friendly and struck up a conversation with us, offered us suggestions of which beers to try, and even directed us to a cool Christmas market in an old castle in a nearby town (Zirndorf). It was the complete opposite of the rude experience we had at Lederer Kulturbrauerei.
