Stylish hotel on a great location !
- + The hotel view from the hotel is very special and the building beautifull in the tradional style
- + Personal service was good and the staff was very friendly
- + Room size
- + After our visit we were invited to tell our remarks:
- The room price and breakfast are expensive , we knew that before. But if you have to pay unexpected an extra 12€/night for parking: that is over the top. This was not clearly announced which should be
- The bathroom: Shower only standing in the bathtub , which is slippery and not designed for a shower., The glass plate is to small so a lot of water on the floor
- “Cheap” pop music in the breakfast room. For such a location during these we would expect Bach or Wagner or other classical music. No anoying singing. By the way it was not too loud
- Dinner : Wild prepared very well. The soup too salt

A pleasant stroll from the city centre, the hotel is the ideal place from which to explore the Wartburg and the surrounding (hilly!) forest at leisure. The hotel accommodation is spacious, comfortable, and relaxed. The reception and housekeeping staff are especially helpful, efficient, and cheerful. In the associated restaurant, the breakfast and other meals are splendid, including the home-made bread and the carafe water; the restaurant staff are relaxed and cheerful.

The ambience was great. The service ranged from outstanding to adequate depending on the task. Perhaps some of the staff have not adapted to the Romantik Hotel team approach yet. Management went out of its way to retrieve a lost item for my companion. Food was excellent, including the breakfast buffet.

Very expensive hotel option for the area but it is worth every Euro. It is definitely a 5 star hotel. You get special treatment at the hotel and the restaurant. Only wish the breakfast was included with the room cost.

Only been to the restaurant, but that was certainly a nice experience. Great food, kind and helpful staff, and great views.
Not exactly cheap, but they have alternatives outside and in the castle. Nice place!

The restaurant serves the best food we've had i all our travels in Germany.

Great atmosphere, wonderful room overlooking the countryside. Delicious breakfast. Food at dinner was very good, but service slow. Staff always professionally friendly but seemed confused that our day plans didn't match their recommendations ;-) Wireless internet cumbersome. All in all a pleasant experience.
