In the room, the smell of an unpleasantly strong chemical.
    Poor ventilation.
The bathroom door was damaged by water.
The room service and breakfast were great. Staff super nice. Great location for visiting the old town.

No complaints. Not terribly cheap, but a fair price for the very convenient location; it's just a short walk away from the Oktoberfest grounds if you're in town for that. Also, they have some of the best breakfast that I've ever had from a hotel.

Staff super super nice. Everything else a pretty big bust. Bathroom musty with big black mold problem. Windows don’t open well. Fan broken. Door lock a dumby or broken. Generally underwhelmed. I was in room 407 if anyone ever wants to address the mold. Also my mother was in 417 and it smelled heavily of cigarettes.

Beautiful hotel. Fantastic buffet breakfast. Staff very friendly. Walking distance to The train station. The room is clean. Need a little bit of repair and upgrade but is good place for the price.

The room was small, but sufficient for a solo traveller. There was no a.c., but the provided fan was also sufficient. The location of the hotel was spectacular, close to both the local transit and the train station, making it easy to go to local tourist attractions and the further ones (Or just as a point of departure). The breakfast was more than serviceable, but it got fairly crowded unless you went early. The staff was also always extremely helpful (although the English wasn't always completely up to snuffthey told me the wrong thing once or twice)

Staff super helpful and kind, and the rooms were very clean. But the beds are super stiff and uncomfortable. Very hard to sleep in.

When I arrived, there were two guests in front of me, who were extremely unhappy with their room. They described it as disgusting. They ended up cancelling and leaving the hotel. Then, a family showed up, complaining their room smelled like cigarette smoke. They were told that's because they are in a smoker room, although they hadn't booked one.
I was nearly scared when I entered my room - at least non - smoking. I had the impression nothing had been done (renovation, new furniture or technology) during the last 20 years. There was an old, very small TV, the doors and walls were damaged and the furniture wad very old. There was a radio with an integrated clock, which was 5 hours behind. The bathroom was very dark, in the bedroom, there was no possibility to turn the lights on/off, so I had to go back to the entrance door to turn off the lights before sleeping and then walk back to the bed in the dark.
Breakfast and the location were good.
But some renovation and more up-to-date style would be urgently needed!
