Had a very pleasant stay at this hostel. It is situated in a very quiet and quaint area within short distance of the beautiful park sanssouci, and has good transport links. Ralf was very welcoming. The hostel was very clean.

Convenient. Clean and comfortable, off street parking and a restaurant across the street. Also a short walk a few hundred metres up the street to Sans Souci Park. I highly recommend this place for all the above reasons

This was my first stay in a hostel. I was very surprised to see a family and many older people staying here. The hostel was very clean and in a quiet, beautiful setting not super far from the center of Potsdam (I had a car so I don't know how close it is by public transport or by foot). The owner? Ralf was very kind. There were 2 other people in my room and between one going to bed at 3:30 am and the other getting up super early, I got very little sleep (of course this was the luck of the draw and by no means the fault of the hostel). There was a tall skinny locker (my suitcase could not fit inside by my backpack did just fine) in the room and a lockable night stand cabinet. The bedding was very comfortable and I was given a towel. I had no trouble with getting a parking spot. I had an issue connecting to the WiFi but once connected, the speed was good. Such a beautiful area to be located in next to the SansSouci garden. I would recommend.

A chamber hostel in a quiet area, close to the Sanssouci Park and Palace - for us it was perfect because we planned mainly sightseeing. The room with the garden view was very comfortable and spacious. It had a fully equipped bathroom and kitchenette (without equipment) with a shelf and sink. The hostel has a fully equipped kitchen (stove with oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, crockery, cutlery ) and a dining room, where guests can leisurely eat all the prepared meals.
Wifi works fairly good with a short cuts.
Everything was well prepared and clean.

Mr. Ralf professionally runs the place,he is communicative and competent and at the same time does not interfere with the privacy of guests.

Excellent, quiet, comfortable, reasonably priced place to stay. Walking distance of Schloss and Park Sans Souci. Bikes for hire if you want to explore further. Clean and well organised. Recommended.

We felt welcome and at home from the moment we registered with the Herbergsvater. The surroundings of this hostel are magnificent, next to a beautiful church, across an antique brewery and 1 minute's walk away from park Sanssouci. To visit Berlin, and then come back to this quiet, peaceful place, is just the perfect combination. I, personally, enjoyed the host's historical and political knowledge, which gave me an interesting background to the observations I had made during the day, in Berlin and Potsdam.
