Best Park in town for kids! They can climb on everything here! Great for kids under 8.

It is a lovely park where kids can play. Not like the usual theme parks where you need to queue for ages. It is a great day out for families with young kids where the kids really have fun playing and would ask you to return!

Took my 3 yr old son..had a great time. Plenty of things to do for young kids. Was clean..food was good..and already looking forward to going back..recommend this for families with smaller children

Nuremberg is known for its toys and near Nuremberg you will find the small town of Zirndorf. You might never have heard of it, but it is home to the manufacturer of Playmobil and home to "Playmobil FunPark".
At €9 per person it is a fairly inexpensive way to pass a morning and/or afternoon and I am sure some families will manage to spend all day in the park. If you come after 3pm, you'll pay a reduced rate of €7, but the park closes at 6pm.
The park is something for late spring, summer and early fall, as a lot of the entertainment options involve water. We were there mid-April at temperature around 10°C (50°F) and were utterly cold, but that isn't the park's fault. They do however offer a very big indoor play area, which is heated and helped us stay warm.
If you are looking for a "Disney-styled" amusement park you are not going to be happy. If you are looking for an amazing outdoor playground, then look no further.
All children are different, but my gut feeling is that the park is best suited for children of 3-11 years of age, while children between 5-10 might get most out of it. My children (5 & 8) loved the park and we had to come back the next morning for more.
Food and drink within the park are very reasonable. A child's menu with Pizza, a drink, desert and a small "gift" will set you back mere €5.90 and that Pizza isn't bad at all.
Before you leave the park you get a chance to buy Playmobil at "reduced" prices. Not sure how much the savings are, but it was a pleasant end to the visit.
Over all to us it was a five star experience and we'd come back at any time!response / report this review -

This is a great park. Entry is relatively inexpensive, the place very clean and well run. Lots of things to do, both indoors and outdoors. What we like especially about the place it that none of the activities are motor driven. The kids have to use their own power to move things around. A true activity park.
