Biking around the city was a great way to see and learn about Munich and it’s history in less than 4 hours! I highly recommend seeing the city this way if you only have a few days to visit.
Great way to see the city. You feel a little touristy riding around for the first part but the guides make you feel fine. Kyle was great.
Very disappointing! Very cheap bikes. The tire popped after 1 mile. We decided to just lock the bikes up and walk in the English Garden rather than walk back to get another bike.
After, we dropped the bikes off expecting a refund - Instead they said we should have read the SMALL sheet of paper next to the desk that said if a tire pops- no refund-just another bike. Unbelievable! They were VERY rude and said "You should have called!" "You should have taken the bus back to get another bike!" Very disappointed to give this company my money. Please avoid.
Keats was our tour guide and was amazing. He cracked jokes, was informative, and very personable. My wife and I had a great time and the price was well worth the experience! We highly recommend Mike's!
Don't hesitate to book tours through this company. Every detail is accounted for, the prices are fair, and all of the tours are enjoyable. We did the Munich city bike tour as well as the trip to Neuschwanstein castle in the same week with Mike's Bike Tours, cannot recommend them enough. You also get a discount on the castle trip if you book a bike tour.
Bikes weren't the best but they weren't bad. The price was better than any other place we could find and the guy renting them out was very friendly and helpful. I would rent from then again
I highly recommend this. The narration enriches the sightseeing experience.
Great for American tourist. They will not rip you off, go into the shop in person to set up bus tours. Very enjoyable tour guides.
Bit tricky to find location but very good, hassle free bike hire with good advice and map provided. Take ID like driving licence to leave as surety. Very helpful staff and takes only 2 minutes to book and take your bike.
Mike’s Bike Tour is an excellent way to spend a few hours, especially if you’re new to the city. Our guide, Tony, struck the perfect balance of being knowledgeable on Munich’s rich history, while also conveying his passion for the city as it is today. The ride itself was also just the right pace – leisurely enough to take in the sights, but fast enough to see a lot and have some fun on the bike. Partway through the tour, we stopped at the English Garden to enjoy some food and beer. That downtime combined with the riding and frequent historical stops made Mike’s Bike Tour an outstanding way to meet new people and create awesome memories. Very highly recommended.
