We had a great night. Great feel, friendly service. Good, simple authentic tapas. Great range of gin and tonics.

Love this restaurant. It has very nice food specially the tapas. The service is good as well. Love to go back again when we go back to München. People should try this restaurant.

First of all, even if I had read all the comments in here, I wasn't expecting such a terrible service. I reserved a table one week advance, and I was on the top of the reservation list and they reserved a table just next to the door.
When we order, we asked for calamari and they told they are out of calamari but in 30 mins they served calamari to the next table. We ordered a bottle of wine, waiter put our bottle to the counter desk, and though he told us I will fill your glasses, he didn't show up until we finish the whole bottle.
It was the first place in Munich for me to leave without any tip. I know, Munich restaurants are not famous with good service, but such a place with expensive prices was really bad even for Munich.response / report this review -

We visited the restaurant Saturday night and honestly had a terrible experience. We will not be returning.
The reasons we were unhappy included:
- we waited over an hour for food and drinks. We sat there and were ignored by staff for the first 30 minutes. They clearly knew we were waiting and ignored our attempts to ask for service.
- on ordering food, we were told that a number of the dishes were not available. Furthermore, you had sold out of Sangria. How does a tapas restaurant sell out of Sangria?? On a Saturday night.
- we received no apologies for either of these faults. In fact, I don't think the staff cared about any of the guests.
- the food itself should have been of much better quality for the prices. The Potatos bravos was plain, just potato with the smallest pot of sauce. No flavour, no garlic and no real sauce to dip them in. The calamari was also plain with no flavour and a lot of the other food was the same.
- we again waited quite some time to pay and the bill included drinks we had ordered but had never arrived.
In summary, the service was poor, the food was below average and the bill was incorrect. The staff clearly need better management. For the prices charged in Munich, and given the competition, I seriously suggest they make some changes.response / report this review -

We waited over half an hour to get served, so sat here with no drinks or food. When we got served they had sold out of several dishes and of SangdiaHow do you sell out of Sangria? Surely you just make it?? We were here over an hour before drinks and food came. They need more staff, to learn how to make Sangria and the prices need to drop slightly.

Really liked the ambiance and service was fantastic. The calamari was fantastic - some of the best i have ever had -and the burrata salad was very good. The grilled chicken with mango dip left something to be desired as did the avocado dip. Overall a very good experience and will certainly be going back here
