Didn't choose to stay here but was sent by BA after getting snowed in at Dusseldorf. Very nervous about it, expected BA to go with cheapest option but was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was a good quality 4*. I had an upsetting hour when we first got there, our Tour Manager had informed the hotel that our party would require a certain number of single rooms, 2 of which were for me and my husband. The (male) receptionist refused to allocate 2 single rooms and insisted we had to share as we were a married couple. He wouldn't even go away and check, and it was only when our Tour Manager intervened that we got this sorted out. After that, everything was absolutely fine, the rooms were quiet, warm and the beds were very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was good, the service was slow but that was to be expected given the sudden influx of guests (although perhaps the hotel could have drafted in more staff once it wa clear the airport was closed). Overall, a pleasant oasis in an otherwise awful 36 hrs.
The hotel is great, rooms are a nice size, clean and functional. The breakfast was very good with everything you may want and the fact that they serve breakfast from 4:30 in the morning is great. The free wifi is very slow and unusable but I was given a voucher. The shuttle service is great.
I stay here several times a year. Usually all is fine. This trip noted some problems with communication with being charged for an extra breakfast and ordering a taxi. All was resolved within a reasonable time.
Lindner hotel is a nice hotel, with friendly staff, great diner, delicious B reakfast buffet and clean & beautiful rooms. definitely recommended, and we will definitely come again.
Great airport hotel with reasonable prices given location. Need to drive, taxi or take courtesy bus but worth the 5 minute trip. Welcoming and friendly service, clean comfortable rooms and all facilities you need for staying over at the airport. Good restaurant with seasonal menu serves quality food well prepared. Service is timely and staff friendly, knowlegable and professional. Small supermarket next door if you need supplies and in walking distance of restaurants or pub if you want a change from hotel. Only downside is finding parking area of courtesy bus. Call hotel and they put you in touch with driver but 2 times he has told me to turn right instead of left in the parking garage. I always stay there when at Dusseldorf airport and never disappointed.
Good staff, friendly and helpful. Good restaurant and food .Room was big enough as I was on business and light and airy.
Enjoyed my stay.
A nice airport hotel that is well situated with a free shuttle service to dusseldorf airport. Breakfast and food were very nice and the wine list was OK too! Much better than some nearby alternatives and worth a little extra for the convenience and shuttle.
Great hotel. A little hard to find the entrance of you come by train. I actually walked to the airport from here. It's only a 15 minute walk. Great breakfast, clean and tidy.
The Hotel is near to the airport and next to Supermarket for some last minute shopping. Rooms are clean and well equipped. But the Hotel announces free shuttle bus service from and to the airport, but only after making and paying for the reservation they announce that the shuttle bus does not operate on the weekend. With luggage there is no other way than taking a taxi which costs another 12 Euros extra. So in the end it is not free !
Hotel was fairly close to the airport but their shuttle only ran from early morning to 10 am. 😡 checking in was simple & quick. The room was very spacious, clean and the whole hotel was quite. So no problem in getting a good night rest.
