Small hotel big on friendly service! Best breakfast we have had in three weeks of travel. Rooms are small and efficient. Very clean. This will be our first choice when in the area next time around.

Kleines, liebevoll eingerichtetes Hotel zum Übernachten und Frühstücken in Sichtweite zu Hauptbahnhof und Dom. Aufmerksame, zugewandte, freundliche Mitarbeiter. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit Liebe zum Detail.

This is a nice hotel we stayed at Cologne. The location is convenient, just two blocks from the station. The elevator is very small, but that seems pretty common in Europe. Kids love to climb the stairs. The rooms are pretty clean and comfortable. It is the sister hotel of the other Domstern (a bit bigger and closer to the station, a little more expensive). For the 2 nights stay, we had one breakfast at the other hotel, and second one right at this hotel. The breakfast buffet is very good, with a lot of choices, both for adults and children. We think the breakfast at the other hotel is a little better than this one. But they are all pretty good. The staff are very friendly. There is no staff after late night (if need service need call), but that's no trouble for our stay.

A hotel that's convenient for the station, small and somewhat dated rooms.
