Waren am Wochenende zum "Kindernotarzt" mit unserem Neugeborenen da. Waren gleich morgens zur Öffnung da und hatten kaum Wartezeit. Die Ärztin und Helferinnen waren wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Klinik sehr groß und modern.

Three times I have been there as a foreigner with my baby. Twice I have been in the night shift, and once during the day. I was (let's say) satisfied with the service in the night shifts, the personnel spoke English, some of them were kind, some seemed not so interested. But I have to say that I had the feeling that they just want to send you home, and forward you in the morning to your doctor. They might give you something for the night, or just give you all the same advice which you already know (paracetamol, ibuprofen.. etc.), and that is it. Their care ends here.
But the last time I was there during the day (right after the night) I was very dissapointed and insulted. The lady which worked there, assigned to take my child's data, was not speaking English. That was not problem at all, I kindly asked if somebody else spoke English so we can better understand each other, but she answered NO, and she announced to me (in a very rude way) that this is Deutschland, and that I am the one which is supposed to speak German.
All OK, I know I am a foreigner, and that nobody is expected to speak English for my benefit, but there is a codex of well behaviour which has to be respected, especially in a institutions like this one - a hospital.
I took my sick child and left.
These tiny little things matter for me, and probably matter to all of us when public service is in question.
Overall I will never go there again.response / report this review -

Weekend evening visit to kid's hospital. Easy/fast paperwork and sign in process--less than 2-minute process. Great/courteous staff.
Family friendly atmosphere. Nurses were so nice; they gave my kid a toy on the way out.response / report this review -
