  The brickwork on this building is amazing. You have to look at every building and imagine it was rubble and how its been built back just amazes me every time! Shame that some places in the world can't even build something like this one time, never mind two times after what the allies did to Dresden!

  Amazing place with great history but i don't have time to go inside but enjoy walking around with our guide during our tour,but there was alots of construction and workers

  Hofkirche, a catholic church in Dresden is built in a city of contrast. The rulers were Catholic, converted to ascend the throne of Poland. Its subjects were Lutheran, going as far as having a competing church, the Frauenkirche built around the same time as the Hofkirche. Construction of Hofkirche started a decade later and upon completion immediately become a dominating silhouette of the Dresden skyline.
  It’s worth taking a closer look at the Hofkirche. Intricate statues along its facade as well as the burial place of almost all the electors of Saxony.

  This Cathedral is previously the most important Catholic parish church of the city, it was elevated to cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Dresden-Meißen in 1964. On my second trip to Dresden I finaly entered this pretty building with refined architecture.
  
  Hofkirche aka Trinity Church is located at Theater Square just on the rite corner or the Zwinger and across the fame Semper Opera House.
  
  You are allowed to take photos inside! :D
